Aimsmum send recorded !

Tortoise a few on here seem to use payperdrop ?

tortoise · 16/11/2008 21:28

Oh no Aimsmum. I would avoid sending the phone abroad. Hopefully you won't have a problem though.
No not me watching it.

tortoise · 16/11/2008 21:29

Thanks. i think i will just put a message on the listing saying that i am happy to courier if buyer sorts it. Do you think that is ok?

Lilyloo · 16/11/2008 21:33

LOL do i put my florrie on then when i have sorted out this verification c**p!
Got my first neg today too won 4 mothercare cot sheets for 99p i let her collect and she negs me , no contact, for being a genuine not pleasant all round ebayer !!
Tortoise yeah just think courier cheaper maybe see if it sells and if not add courier next time ?

tortoise · 16/11/2008 21:36

Lilyloo yes will do that i think. Saves me or them waiting in (If it sells!). Sorry about your neg too. You can normally add your own comment or email Ebay about it if unfair. I got a neg because the buyer decided the OshKosh dugarees she bought off me were fakes! And so called had a stain! No stain when i sent them.

Lilyloo · 16/11/2008 21:45

A load of rubbish but what can you do ?
Nothing other than give then a positive

tortoise · 16/11/2008 21:48

Stupid rule isn't it! I have had a few no payers but no way of telling future buyers cos can't neg them. Really anoys me!

libralady · 16/11/2008 22:35

Whatever you do, DO NOT post mobiles to Poland. I was caught out this time last year. The winner from Devon paid via paypal, thought it was all kosher, sent the phone to an address in Poland and then a couple of weeks later Paypal reclaimed the payment syaing a fraud had been carried out on the account and I was over £100 out of pocket and no phone to sell on. Tried to contact the buyer who was not responding to e-mails either through e-Bay or e-mail address and got no help whatsoever from e-Bay or Paypal.

Lilyloo · 16/11/2008 22:38

ooh Aimsmum think twice before you send this !!

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 16/11/2008 22:39

libra - I would never post to an address that wasn't on the paypal account - so if the paypal account was registered in Devon - to Devon it would have been sent. I would have told 'em to feck off if they'd tried to get me to send to a different address.

libralady · 16/11/2008 22:41

I contacted paypal prior to sending and got an affirmative which was why I was so pissed off!

tortoise · 16/11/2008 22:59

Aimsmum Agree with others. Best not to send. Contact Ebay, explain you clearly said UK only and then re list the phone. Pain for you but safer than risking sending abroard.
Is there a way to block non UK bidders?

Lilyloo · 17/11/2008 10:02

yes when you list there is an option on there to block non uk bidders.
Tortoise how do i pay you for car ?

Aimsmum · 17/11/2008 10:29

Message withdrawn

Lilyloo · 17/11/2008 10:38

his feedback looks good and he obv buys phones so i would send it then but international signed for def !
You can put Poland in the royal mail postage calculator

Lilyloo · 17/11/2008 10:40

doesn't matter if you empty account they would take the money from the card attached to it!
If you do it signed for you shouldn't have any probs!
The answer centre on ebay has an international selling section which is helpful!

tortoise · 17/11/2008 12:26

Lilyloo Paypal is fine for the car.
[email protected] Thanks.
I have a few more bids today but not many on the items ending tonight but a few watchers so fingers crossed for bids.
Then the horrible job of packing it all and finding the money to post!

Lilyloo · 17/11/2008 13:07

have paid tortoise thanks

tortoise · 17/11/2008 13:59

Thanks, will post tomorrow or Thursday.

Had an offer of £7 on the fancy dress outfit. Think that is lower than i am happy to accept really.

tortoise · 17/11/2008 20:31

5 of my items will sell tonight.
Plenty of others have bids too.

tortoise · 17/11/2008 21:44

Didn't do too bad tonight.
Few highlights were:
Dress £5.74 (cost me 99p!)
Coat £3.21 (Cost me 99p!)
Jeans £7.30 (Cost me £3ish)
Guitar £5.16 (Cost me 99p!)

Lilyloo · 17/11/2008 22:07

please tell me Boden coat didn't go for £3 ?

tortoise · 17/11/2008 22:17

Yes it did . Was hoping for more but thats the way Ebay goes. At least i hadn't bought it new lol!

Lilyloo · 17/11/2008 22:20

can't believe that thought you would have had a last minute frenzy on that!
Why are clothes going for pence now ?
Bargain for buyer should have bid to put away for dd!

tortoise · 17/11/2008 22:28

Everyone wants a bargain plus i suppose pople can't afford clothes. Probably would have sold better at the start of the cold weather.
Am at the sudden bidding on the wiggles guitar though, It only had 1 watcher! Got 8 bids!

Will probably re-list some bids tomorrow night. DS2 was hoping his moon shoes would sell.
