Heelys didn't sell again. Will re-list slighly lower price. Although they did have 2 watchers and i was accepting offers but no-one made an offer!

tortoise · 14/11/2008 21:51

Lilyloo How does £5.50 in all sound for the Peppa car?

More items being listed. Hopfully more will sell the closer it gets to xmas!

tortoise · 14/11/2008 22:40

more items listed
Bored with it now lol! Will probably leave it a few days before adding more stuff!

Ally90 · 15/11/2008 10:51

Thanks for the encouragement...I have just entered the place that exists only in my dh's mind...the garage...or the black pit of hell as I like to call it. I have touched the previously untouchable items...and made it back into the house with 2 items that should fetch the most and they even have packaging ready ...now got to scoot off to look after dd, will be back...I will be back when she goes for her nap to put the items onto ebay...any sage advice welcome...I have only ever sold one item on ebay...

Hope all your ebaying is going well

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 15/11/2008 11:08

tortoise - yes I'm bored of it too atm. Going to leave it until the weekend before I add more stuff. Have my last car boot (well table top - as it's indoors in the church hall) on Saturday and the DS's are with their dad. So from Saturday I have 4 weeks to get everything shifted (set myself a time frame of just before Christmas to sell as much as I can then EVERYTHING is going on freecycle/FFP on here)

tortoise · 15/11/2008 12:56

One item ended on a BIN. And one item has a 2nd bid.
Have 2 days until the next lot end and most have at least one watcher so i have my fingers crossed!

Is it just me or do some people ask really daft questions? Won't say what in case it is a mner !

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 15/11/2008 13:05

oh some people do ask odd questions definitely.

Oddest one I had was yesterday from the winning bidder (only one lol) on my lot of McDonalds toys - bearing in mind she'd won the auction and had already paid me

"hi can you tell me if the Nemo's are plastic"
!!

I replied to say yes they were (tough if they weren't really as she'd already paid psml) and I hoped to post them on Monday. She responded saying "oh good" - her nephew is Autistic and is obssessed with plastic Nemo's

tortoise · 15/11/2008 13:16

lol!

tortoise yeah that sounds good can i sort payment out Mon thanks

tortoise · 15/11/2008 17:57

Lilyloo Thats fine with me.

tortoise · 15/11/2008 18:16

I have slightly revised one item.
The wiggles guitar had only 1 watcher. I had a look at ones selling now and TBH it doesn't make sence! People are bidding on one guitar which is higher than my BIN price! Exactly the same item Think my postage is slightly less! Others the same no bids or just one while this other one has loads!
Hope mine gets some bids soon or goes on BIN.

tortoise · 15/11/2008 20:45

Decided to list my Christmas tree! Have ordered a new, smaller, slim line one to replace it!
Worried i am aiming to high price wise though!

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 15/11/2008 22:23

gah - you have a bid on your NafNaf Trousers tortoise - and it's not me

at least the jumper is still bid free

tortoise · 15/11/2008 22:27

I just noticed that bid . (Not that i have been checking all day to see if bids have gone up!)

Top still just has you watching.
Trousers have 4 watchers.

Broken camera even has 3 watchers.

And 1 watcher on the xmas tree already!

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 15/11/2008 22:33

ooooo glad I'm the only watcher on the top still - want that more than I want the trousers (as there were some in that lot I'm buying off you outside of ebay)........I AM having that top (be prepared if there's more than one bid for me to go slightly mad )

justneedsomesleep · 15/11/2008 22:38

Made about £150 so far!
I'm impressed, as i've never done it before (well, i've bought stuff! but now i'm making money) and dh has made about £200 and it's all going towards 'our new fancy tv' fund, which is our christmas present to ourselves and we will buy it in January!
Sold baby clothes, maternity stuff and computer stuff

Well done justneedsomesleep.

skramble · 16/11/2008 01:16

Ok starting late but determined to make about £100, still got loads to list but this is the lisings so far.

tortoise · 16/11/2008 12:03

Good luck skramble. Had a peak at your items. Nothing for me but would maybe suggest taking photos with a lighter background ie wooden floor or light coloured sheet.

No more bids for me yet. Couple more watchers (Not on the Next top though FAQ!)

Lilyloo · 16/11/2008 16:23

tortoise you might find it cheaper to courier that happy land stuff ?

tortoise · 16/11/2008 21:02

Thanks Lilyloo, thats a good idea. Any idea which one? Can't remember which i used before!

Have a few more bids. Lots ending tomorrow!

Lilyloo · 16/11/2008 21:05

ask on here i have been reccomended a few but i recently paid £7 for a baby annabell and car seat etc! Might get you a few more bids!
Will look for you!

tortoise · 16/11/2008 21:12

Thanks.
Not sure it will make that much difference as it only saves a few quid plus people have to be in for a courier. Worth adding to list that a courier could be uses i guess.
