Well I sold 7 items tonight and made £20.21 on them, mostly dance shoes which did well, disapointed Cadoo game went for 99p as it is as new and a message pad that went for 6p, should have started at 99p shouldn't I.

Another 9 items finishing tomorrow. Clothes are doing well I see, must see what else I have to add, still got disney videos to list.

How did you get on Aimsmum? Personally would give up on getting payment for phone and just re-list making sure that non UK bidders can't bid.

Thats a pretty good amount.
I have more ending tomorrow.
And am about to re-list a couple of bits that didn't sell last night.

skramble · 18/11/2008 23:11

Oh you are all doing well, I sold another bunch tonight, only had to relist a pair of sandals so far suppose its not the season for it.

Loads of cellophane bags listed tonight if you know anyone who is looking for some for christmas crafts or fairs .

welll of my relisted items from last week (out of 18) sold last night for £2.49 - still better than a kick in the teeth

Have also just placed bids on 2 items

tortoise · 19/11/2008 10:15

more items
Some new ones there i think. Hope to still have time to list a few more bits that i have to sell. Am hoping to get DS1 a PSP off Ebay so i need the money in paypal!

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 19/11/2008 10:18

tortoise - when the auctions finish tonight I'll pay you for that other stuff I'm buying off you too - will Paypal - so that's going to be another £40+ in your Paypal

tortoise · 19/11/2008 11:10

Oh thats great FAQ. Thanks.

I have just recieved a cheque with no info with it! Not a payment because i haven't given details for sending a cheque. Only one person contact to pay by PO and that arrived too.

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 19/11/2008 11:41

no problem - it will be easier for me as atm I have just over £42 in there - so the majority will come straight out of there and not have a major effect on my bank balance

tortoise · 19/11/2008 11:56

.
Is it worth listing a foot spa? They don't seem to sell very well. Maybe i should just charity shop it! Have pulled out the whole cupboard to see what else i can list. Quite a bit! lol! Do womens books sell? Have a few most haven't been read but don't look new from where they have been in a box of others.

Also have a nice pair of white jeans but i can't get the very light stains off the back of the legs. Looks like mud stain. Worth listing described well? Really have to look hard to see the mark!

mum2taylor · 19/11/2008 11:57

That sounds like such a good idea...can anyone fill me in on how it works with the postage and packaging etc. If you have a large item like a pram, how do you go about sending that on without spending a fortune? Rather clueless

tortoise · 19/11/2008 11:57

Meant to add FAQ, i couldn't find that other top you asked about. The one i said i would chuck in for free.

UnfortunatelyMe · 19/11/2008 11:59

Pirate Playmobil anyone

tortoise · 19/11/2008 12:00

mum2taylor I would send a pram via a courier. Or pick up only. Other postage can be worked out by looking at the royal mail website. Weigh the item on kitchen scales the put the weight into the price finder on the website and it will tell you how much it will be to send. Add a bit to that to cover your packaging etc. I use either postal bags from PO or brown paper and plenty of parcel tape!

tortoise · 19/11/2008 12:02

All the girlie playmobil i have been watching sold really well. I have seen lots with very OTT BIN prices though. I am surprised yours hasn't sold by now.

UnfortunatelyMe · 19/11/2008 12:03

Me too...The ones on auction are going...and the one on Buy It Now I will start at 99p if it hasnt sold by the time the others have gone.
Never Mind!

mum2taylor · 19/11/2008 12:05

thanks tortoise....do I just put the cost of the courier in the post and packaging for the item then or am I expected to cover this cost myself?

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 19/11/2008 12:05

don't worry about that top Tortoise - DS3 actually has plenty of tops (and lots in bags waiting to grow into) - it would have been an "impulse" buy

tortoise · 19/11/2008 12:10

Yes put it in a postage costs. Buyer covers all postage costs. On the listing you will have a chance to choose postal service.

FAQ Ok lol.

mum2taylor · 19/11/2008 12:11

Ahh, thanks for that Tortoise!

Lilyloo · 19/11/2008 13:18

skramble have you asked the ladies who make craft things on here r/e the cellophane bags ?

grr i can't list any of my stuff waiting for deposits to go in bank so i can verify paypal

tortoise · 19/11/2008 13:45
