"The item you bought went at a price lower than expected - please pay more for it..."! Ever heard anything like it???!!!

I just won an item on Ebay and the seller has sent me this email..

"hi i'm just wondering if your willing to pay £15 for this item because the price was abit lower than expected.could you please let us no ASP thanks. As you could see this is a very popular item nd we had alot of questions asked on it.thanks"

WHAT would you reply to this???!! I am amused and incredulous at her very cheek!!

Got this message:

"This payment cannot be processed at this time. This is usually because the transaction has not yet been completed. If this is a completed transaction, please double check that the Transaction ID you selected refers to a payment that you sent."

When I tried to enter the transaction number into the dispute box

Just check that she has actually accepted your payment sometimes yo have to accept or dcline it.

I think you can only open a dispute once a certain amount of time has passed.

You are in a good position as you have paid, if you didn't she could have reported you as a non-paying winner and got in before you. And she can't leave you negative feedback to boot!

What a moron! And now she has a nice feedback score of -1 Ha! I guess she will be re-registering.

Gawd she is a donut isn't she?? She even put her mobile number on the ad - 'if interested call this number'. She obviously has no clue how eBay works and is treating it like placing an ad in the local paper.

Am heartened by the fact there are some nice people on MN who are sending your ds some lovely FurReals. I would send you one myself if I had one.

Is there some new thing on paypal now where new sellers have to wait for positive feedback before the funds are released to them? (or did i imagine that?). That might be why the funds havent cleared yet.
That seller really didnt grasp what ebay was about did they?

I would definately open one with Paypal as well as Ebay as it's highly unlikely you're ever going to see the cat!

Because I havent subscribed to CAT it isnt allowing me to CAT,although I have ticked yes to recieve CAT on my registration page, so you might be able to send me your email address?
I would rather not post my email on thread as it has my name in it.

The amount I've paid is still showing as "unclaimed" on the "recent activity" section of my Paypal account. I wonder why..

Also, I have three different names in total connected with this Ebayer; her Ebay name (which IS an actual name), the name which appears when she emails.. and the name on her Paypal.

Not sure what to do about this.. can't open a Paypal dispute if she hasn't claimed although I do have option to "cancel" the payment.. but then she could say I'm not willing to pay!

I think I ought to hear back from Ebay before the day is out.. will see what they say..
