My sister has brought a buggy from her and by the looks of it, she has been scammed. Dazedandconfusedmum I noticed your name in the auction list? Do you have an address for her???

She's got eleven negatives already.

ledodgy · 19/02/2007 22:32

But all thouse were in the last week or so weird she's just gone bad iyswim.

ledodgy · 19/02/2007 22:33

Do you reckon someone could have hijacked her account?

SparklyGothKat · 19/02/2007 22:33

but she was only selling Cds before, and has only been selling for a few weeks.

SparklyGothKat · 19/02/2007 22:34

She had 100% when my sister brought the buggy.

It's horrible when you get shafted isn't it? I had a nightmare with some cow selling new moses basket mattresses. Not as much moey involved but still pisses you off. Some people just don't give a sh*t!

ledodgy · 19/02/2007 22:36

*money

SparklyGothKat · 19/02/2007 22:36

not sure if the account has been hi-jacked but she had 20 of these buggies, at £349 a time, thats a lot of cash

OP posts:
SparklyGothKat · 19/02/2007 22:37

she is really panicking, she is about 8-9 weeks pregnant, has been bleeding this week, and today ended up in hospital where they found that her heartrate was 130bpm.

OP posts:
ledodgy · 19/02/2007 22:38

Does sound very dodgy.

ledodgy · 19/02/2007 22:38

Oh no sorry to hear that. She could do without this crap then.

Fingerscrossed2007 · 19/02/2007 22:40

what an operator. probably deliberately sold lots of little things to build up a good score...and then went for the kill. very upsetting.

Ladymuck · 19/02/2007 22:46

Won't Paypal refund?

SparklyGothKat · 19/02/2007 22:47

this doesn't look good here she sold 20 of the buggies on one auction and still sold another to my sister

OP posts:
Skribble · 19/02/2007 22:47

I wonder if she has been hacked as the listings look a bit different. But that might be because the cd info looked cut and pasted.

Skribble · 19/02/2007 22:49

Also it says something about her business, if that was the case is it not likely that she would have other baby/ pram related items not just CD's.

Skribble · 19/02/2007 22:50

OMG 20 times £360, whoever it was has made a fortune, hope they trace it.

SparklyGothKat · 19/02/2007 22:51

Paypal will only refund if the funds are in the seller's paypal account, but as she has got over £6000 I think she will have transferred that to her account.
What is strange is that on all the little items, she offered the option of paying by cheque but on the buggy ones it was paypal only......

OP posts:
SparklyGothKat · 19/02/2007 22:54

Thats why I am wondering if Dazedandconfusedmum has an address for her...

OP posts:
Ladymuck · 19/02/2007 22:56

Seems odd - she carried on listig cds after this blip with the buggies (though if I read this correctly managed to have more winning bids than the number of buggies?) Doesn't look as if there is any positive feedback for the buggies.

SparklyGothKat · 19/02/2007 23:00

if you actually look at the dates the buggys were the last things to be listed

OP posts:
misdee · 19/02/2007 23:02

not me btw, my other sister.

wotzsaname · 19/02/2007 23:03

only been on ebay by that name from 25 Jan 07. Sounds like a scam. Hope you can resolve this with ebay. Police should be involved. Sounds like a big fraud.

Sorry for your sister.

SparklyGothKat · 19/02/2007 23:14

am I right in thinking that you can only transfer £500 a month to your bank account??

OP posts:
misdee · 19/02/2007 23:18

unless you are verified. this one isnt verified, so cant.
