Could you cantact the seller of the boat, explain what has happened. Find out what time shes going to collect ha the boat and be waiting there with a baseball bat/policeman?

Have you tried contacting previous buyers?
If they paid by cheque, they might have an address. You could then phone the local police to them and get something done.

have you reported her to paypal and ebay i believe they are different i think paypal are a bit better than abay as far as claims are concerned

the same thing happened to me a while ago with a psp (but thats obviousley was no where near as much cash)

we could start a petition about this i buy loads off ebay and they need to make it safer

my sister has reported it to ebay and put in a claim with PP, but as she isn't vertified, sis will only get her money back if the funds are avaible, which by the looks of things,won't be by the march 1st, which is when he/she has to repond by.

but all the other buyers will have to wait the same amount of time from putting in claim. Hopefully there will be enough money for your sister to get her cash back.

yes, that is true, but what I meant, was that if the seller (ha!!) keeps spending the money like they have been, there will be no money by the time march 1st comes round.

I thought that once an dispute was escalated to a claim, the money in question is frozen so she cant spend/withdraw until the claim is settled? i may be wrong.

You should maybe report that post with her addy on it coz this ebayer seems a bit mad...wouldnt want her knowing dacms email...well she might already but still...
