I've only got one bid on 17 items ending today... but I've been a good girl beavering away at getting more listings ready for next free weekend.

I will just be relisting this weekend (stuff that doesn't sell and stuff I have written up but couldn't list last week because I was at my limit.)

Can I join you guys? Have been selling since mid March and getting quite into it now and loving making money and clearing stuff out of the house at the same time!!

Got 44 items ending tomorrow - a mix of baby girls & boys clothes and a whole load of Fat Face and other tops size 18/20 if anyone is looking for stuff here

Question: a listing ends with no bidders but I want to relist it next free weekend. Problem is, although the general listing will stay on my "Unsold" list for a while, the photo disappears kind of quickly, it's like Ebay doesn't want to store it. How soon do they disappear?

I've been getting around this by relisting items quickly with a far away scheduled start date. But sometimes the next free listing weekend is only a few days after that, it's quite tedious to have to relist twice, iyswim! So would be nice to know how quickly Ebay removes the photo & rest of the Unsold listing.

Anyone know?

That is odd ragged. I am really sorry as I have no idea how to help. Hopefully another wise ebayer will know the answer.

Listings ending tonight still have no bids but do have 23 watchers across 5 of the items. Though as MrNC keeps saying, they're probably all other owners of similar tat wondering if they could sell theirs. Will be miffed if I can't sell the Monsoon dress and the Baby Bjorn stuff though.

Can I just ask a quick question. My bag seems to be doing ok - got 15 watchers and it's now had a new bid from someone that joined today, so no feedback, no nothing. I suppose everyone has to join and buy something for the first time so I don't need to think anything of that....or do I? Got a couple of other low bids on things...so I might make a little in a few hours time! Here's hoping

Bobkate, I'm always a bit wary of newbies, mainly because I recently sold a bed to one, and he failed to pay and collect! But no reason why they won't be legit. I think the dodgy folk are after more pricey items than bags. If it gets to a high value make sure you post recorded to protect yourself from claims of "item not received".

Thanks cointreau. I am planning on sending recorded so I guess that's the most I can do. Thanks, I suppose I must be a little wary too, to have asked the question, but still got a few hours so they might not even be the final bidder.

I'm really shocked I've got 3 next sleepsuits 3-6 with 17 watchers and a set of 0-3 with none. None of my 0-3 has any watchers....has anyone else had this?

20 watchers on a boden cardi i got in a charity shop for £4.95... Currently at £6.75 with 3 hours to go (excited!) just as well as inadvertantly bought a bed yesterrday for DD... Now need to find a mattress.... :(

Well, Bobkate, would you believe it, my most pricey listing finishing today now has a newbie as the highest bidder.

!!! cointreau spooky! My newbie has been outbid...for now. Got about half an hour left, so hoping to get a few more bids. Do I leave feedback as a seller as soon as they've paid, or do I wait until they've left me feedback (if they do?) I have a notepad ready to jot down addresses, etc.... I'm so worried about getting in a muddle!

bobkate - recorded only covers you up to around £36 - if an item goes for much more then you need to send Special Delivery to be compensated if it gets lost.

jeans - i think people get given loads of 0-3 stuff and there's so much unused on Ebay it doesn't sell. I've just packed up all dd's 0-3 and newborn stuff for a friend as almost none of it is nice enough to bother selling.

does first class recorded now cover you up to £60 since the price rises came into effect?

Looks like the compensation limit is still £46?

haha - fair cop! Have had the weekend from hell - too lazy to google, but yes indeed. I don't know my backside from my elbow today to be honest or which way is up anymore, but thanks you made me smile so that is good :)

Well I'm properly chuffed. £83.51 . Already had payments for about £50 so delighted. Sadly it'll just get eaten up by our overdraft, as opposed to being able to spend on something else...but it's a start.

oh and 10 out of 18 sold, so not too bad I think.

Some sleepsuits that sold at 7:30pm tonight are about to be collected by tge buyer
