Post your listings and questions here. The purpose is to raise money for Christmas and I'll start by showing my (so far) meagre listings here

Added a few new listings tonight, any one got any top tips for cleaning pushchair rain covers while I'm here? Grin

Forgottensomething · 24/08/2011 22:44

Listed 3 items tonight will do more tommorow

Laweasel bung it in the washing machinebalways works for me don't tumble dry thou!

DecapitatedLegoman · 24/08/2011 23:00

Evening all.

No sales yet but I haven't got any BINs so can't complain Grin

Re selling overseas, to whoever asked about posting to Croatia, I have had this happen a few times and it's actually no trouble at all - Royal Mail have a pricefinder on their website and you just look up the price and change the postage costs when you send your PayPal invoice. For most items you're looking for Airmail Small Packets. The first time I sold overseas I got really narky but felt bad in the end because it was so easy Blush

I've been working all day and tomorrow's busy too but hopefully Friday will be filled with more sorting and listing. I need new shoes for work and I really want a new mascara but the one I want is £22 so quite a lot of crap to shift before I can fulfil those little dreams!

moomoo1967 · 25/08/2011 12:42

I need an incentive as buyers have really been getting me down recently so this could be just the ticket Smile

WalterFlipschicks · 25/08/2011 20:39

Excellent, thats all mine sold! Well the four bits i got around to listing, really must get in my loft!

LaWeasel · 25/08/2011 20:45

Thanks forgottensomething, that worked really well!

About half of our things are sold but still ages left to go so hoping all the prices will go up. My cath kidston bag is doing surprisingly well already, pleasantly surprising.

Aimsmum · 25/08/2011 21:56

Hi there, can I join in please? I have listed some stuff tonight and plan to get more stuff on over the next few nights. I have been using the iphone app to list, it makes it seem so much easier....just wish there was a more convenient way of getting to the post office!! Grin

Anyway, here is my stuff here

dizzyday07 · 26/08/2011 16:29

My sister's listings are finished - so I'm now slowly adding bits of ours!

TheOriginalNutcracker · 26/08/2011 19:32

God i love it when stuff sells lol. I am overly excited that I have 14 people watching a make-up bag lol.

dizzyday07 · 27/08/2011 16:53

I have a couple of bidders Grin. Not for very much money though! Sad

nickelbabe · 27/08/2011 17:05

i'm not going to make that much!

here's mine so far.

most of the stuff we've sorted out has gone to charity shop.

bilblio · 27/08/2011 17:23

I need advise.
I had someone earlier in the week asking if I'd ship to Bulgaria and how much it would cost. I found out the price for her.
She emailed me a couple of minutes after the bidding had closed saying she'd tried to bid but it didn't let her.

I thought I'd set it that I'd ship to the EU, but I can't work out where to check this.
I think the fees for buy it now would buy 40p, so I'm willing to waive this... is there anything I should be wary of?

Aimsmum · 27/08/2011 17:31

I have a few more things on a scheduled start, due to start later this evening. Pleased that a tracksuit I put on the other night went to £19 (from 99p) within an hour of listing Grin

I think shipping to Bulgaria will be fine, I have shipped to most places and the only problems i have ever had on ebay have been from buyers within the UK!!

WalterFlipschicks · 27/08/2011 18:05

Bilbilo, i had mine set up so international bidders couldnt bid because i was once selling a mobile phone and fraudsters kept winning it.
You go into, seller preferences in my account i think, you can change it from there

bilblio · 27/08/2011 21:15

Hmmm, well I've just double checked everything and I definitely had it listed as UK and European. I've emailed her and let her know if was set properly, and I've relisted it.

Only sold 1 thing so far, but I know they're priced quite high. I've re-listed all the unsold. I've also dropped the price on a couple of things. Especially as I realised I was selling one item for more than I bought it for. Blush In my defence I don't think you can buy it new anymore and I got the price by looking at how much one had sold for recently on ebay.

I've spent this evening going through DD's clothes ready for the arrival of DC2. If it turns out to be a boy I'll be listing a lot of bundles of girls clothes... some which never had the tags removed.

ChablisLover · 28/08/2011 09:20

Can I join in?

Am busy trying to pull together the things to sell and writing descriptions before I list.

Was going to do it this weekend but after reading on here I may wait until next weekend when it may be busier.

DecapitatedLegoman · 28/08/2011 09:32

I have some stuff to add tonight - mostly things I have bought from eBay but never worn - in my defence some of it didn't fit. Not sure how well I'll do, some items are popular with watchers and some just aren't but I forgot to put counters no most of my listings so I can't tell whether there's just no buyers for the stuff of whether it's my crappy descriptions and poor photography!

ClaimedByMe · 28/08/2011 09:40

My stuff ends tonight, only one bidder but have at least one watcher on each of my 4 items, fingers crossed!

Good luck everyone!

Aimsmum · 28/08/2011 16:04

Good luck claimedbyme! I have some things ending tonight too, not doing very well tho, a few 99p bids and most without even a watcher!!

Added some more things last night, so fingers crossed! My stuff

ClaimedByMe · 28/08/2011 16:13

here

Hopefully thats a link to my stuff, its took me since about last week to work that out Blush

Good luck Aimsmum

Tortoise · 28/08/2011 17:53

All my items end tonight. Few have 99p bids. Muddy puddles waterproofs have 17 watchers and a few bids so they should do well.

Aimsmum · 28/08/2011 18:49

Oh well think I made about £5 tonight!! Grin Have re-listed the unsold stuff.

Hope everyone else is more successful!

DecapitatedLegoman · 28/08/2011 19:34

Haven't caught up yet but bilblio I've had a similar message re overseas bids, although the item hasn't ended yet. Not sure what's up, can't see a problem at this end Confused

Redumbdancy · 28/08/2011 19:58

Oh I'm in.

Got 4 things on now but have some scheduled for 8pm.

here

DecapitatedLegoman · 28/08/2011 20:29

Ooooooh Redum, selling Netmums merchandise? Tut! Grin

I've been adding bits and bobs, most some unlikely to sell and unwatched, other things doing surprisingly well, should make more than £30 tonight (I had better!). Have some more random stuff to add but it's a faff ... must stay motivated! Good luck all of you :)
