New Year challenge

I missed the Christmas challenge as my mum died and I spent a fair bit of time with her, then the funeral etc. So I have today listed 32 items and still have a few more to list tomorrow. So, shall we start a new challenge - what shall we make it?

Any tips / comments from you regular ebayers as to how to improve any of the listings? I've tried doing a BIN price with most of them this time - not sure if this will improve my chances and whether I've pitched the prices right.

SNOW 4 of your items have the same picture of a dress but different title. Smile

Am impressed by the amount of things you lot have listed though, I thought 16 was a lot to get done in one night!

I am trying to raise money towards a holi1day too I reckon up to now I have sold about £ 150 - 200 since xmas before fees.

Need to double it lol.

If you schedule your listings to end in the future you can store them in your ebay and then nip in and edit them to start immediately when you are ready:)

Well I have added some more today mainly dd4 summer stuff.

Getting late o going to put some more in schedule nd start them tomorrow at a reasonble hour.

Only one item selling a the mo out of 69 but hoping for lots of last minute interest :)

My items end tonight. Only 2 watchers on DS1's DS console. Wondering if i should remove it because i don't want it ending too low.

Not sure tortoise can you afford to let it go for £25 ?

I just need space at the moment ...getting rid of all the kids clothes that do fit all the stuff you buy just in case and it never happens lol.

I have a few watchers but only on a couple of things fingers crossed :)

Sent the e-mail to my disappointed buyer just waiting now see my other thread.

Can I join once again? I know this thread has been running for a while but I have not been in mood for ebaying. However I have lots of Summer clothes that I was saving to list later, but I am running out of space to store them so they need to go ASAP!

Just added a few more things here but scheduled to start this evening.

Is Friday a really bad time for ebay listings to end? Should I schedule them for Sunday or something?

Tortoise I loved that dress also, but now really too small for DD.
Jareth I have found that items ending on Fridays actually do not do too bad. I suppose that it depends what you are selling, on Sundays usually there is too much choice of everything as too many people choose that time. I find Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday evenings the best really!

Tortoise I think I have some more items mainly t-shirts, skirts and I think some trousers. DD also had a growth spurt recently, she just seems to grow out of clothes before she has time to wear them properly! I will probably be listing some more if not tonight then early next week. i tend to list Mondays or Tuesdays as those are my days off.

Arse! DS lite sold for £26 Sad. What can i do? I can't sell it at that price. I know i should as i took a risk but DS1 is so disappointed Sad

It's rubbish when things go for lower that you want. I'm addicted to checking my watchers and bidders at the moment in case something worth £20 goes for 99p.
