New Year challenge

I missed the Christmas challenge as my mum died and I spent a fair bit of time with her, then the funeral etc. So I have today listed 32 items and still have a few more to list tomorrow. So, shall we start a new challenge - what shall we make it?

Any tips / comments from you regular ebayers as to how to improve any of the listings? I've tried doing a BIN price with most of them this time - not sure if this will improve my chances and whether I've pitched the prices right.

Tortoise I hope you don;t mind if I suggest that you add the makers name to your toys listings titles?

For example if I was searching for a toy I might put 'Fisher-Price' into the search thingy...

balamory sold........
dora sold and packaged but keeps singing ....I could not see how to take the batteries out hope it does not scare the postman:)
bra refunded buyer sent back I sent wrong size .....
and dispute opened for a parcel paid for on the 31st jan the seller does not seem to want to give me a refund ...she keeps saying I can have the proof of postage and claim so I have opened a dispute:(

Off to find more of dd4's stuff to sell bit fed up ebaying to keep me busy x

LOL Snowball - I work for Ann Summers and had to post an item to a customer once, It was a posing pouch in the shape of a sheeps head and as I dropped the parcel into the postbox I could hear it baa-ing away. Gave me a chuckle thinking of the postie Grin

Another £25 here... seem to be running out of stuff to sell but local charity shops are loving me - another 6 carrier bags of stuff gone! Also got rid of 2 bags of clothes at a clothes-swapping party and got some really nice stuff that fits perfectly. :)

Ski boots didn't sell and I can't see the charity shop selling them - will relist and then Freecycle I think. Size 7 ski boots anyone?

Unlikely to crack £100 by Easter though at this rate, but at least I'll have more space in the house.

well I underestimated the postage on the balamory and dora thing.....totally my fault just hope they get there safe and get good feedback ..........plus culd not refund the postage back that the buyer on the bra sent me back need their paypal e-mail hope they understand :( will refund asap

its free listing again this weekend c'mon ladies get your stuff on lol Grin

Despite my preparation i have failed to list a thing! Just as i started item description on first item a spyware warning came uo and i couldn't get rid of it or do anything. Some sort of virus called system tool. All sorted now thanks to youtube info using internet on my phone!

System Tool is an absolute CNUT and resulted in my having to have my entire PC wiped :(

I will do some listing today using the scheduling trick!

Didn't do very well with my items last night.

Listed a bunch of items with the scheduling trick to start round 9pm last night... got home just in time to 'start immediately' with 2 minutes to spare! :)

Then listed a bunch of Ladybird books which didn't take long with 'sell similar', only to find I'd done them all for 7 not 10 days and you can't make listings longer. Oh well, can always relist.

Hope your PC is recovered Tortoise!

I'm so far behind with my listings but am going to spend a couple of hours this afternoon listing some of the bigger items. I have a MB double buggy that I meant to list last time but ran out of time so that's top of the list.

Tortoise - I didn't get an e-mail either - this time nor last, but had them all of last year. I am getting other e-mails OK from eBay so I don't know why they are not bothering to tell me about free listing weekends any more! Sad

Very slow going today lol! Internet keep going down and had another security threat come up. Sad Luckily sorted very easily.
Only 4 scheduled listing so far and 1 active listing because i forgot to schedule it lol!

Going to have to revise listings to 99p on most i think.

Really chuffed that I got great feedback from the ballamory toy today sent it recorded on Friday.

Got a few things finishing tonight a couple of bids and a few watchers but nothing spectacular.
