New Year challenge

I missed the Christmas challenge as my mum died and I spent a fair bit of time with her, then the funeral etc. So I have today listed 32 items and still have a few more to list tomorrow. So, shall we start a new challenge - what shall we make it?

Any tips / comments from you regular ebayers as to how to improve any of the listings? I've tried doing a BIN price with most of them this time - not sure if this will improve my chances and whether I've pitched the prices right.

Hi Snowball4girlz.. just had a quick look at your listings..

Hope you don't mind me saying but I quite often sell bras on ebay and I find that you need to put the size in the title if you're going to be able to sell - people tend to search by 'Bra - 36d' or whatever.

Feel free to tell me to take my nosey beak elsewhere!

I have amended the listing must have forgot as I normally do include the size and when checking my auctions did not notice cheers :)

Have sold £40-worth since Christmas which is good as it includes £20 from a dress I'd listed twice before and didn't think would sell.
And have photos of more to list.

Just have a cheeky buyer to deal with - wanted to do 'collection in person' from one of two stations near his house and about an hour from mine!!
Told him no, collection is from my house only. Still hasn't paid... sent reminder today. Postage only £1.99!

well got a few more bits on for the weekend and finally got my big pictures to work :)

I think i will spend tomorrow morning listing using the scheduling trick we learnt on last thread then i can just change the time before they start. I don't seem to have much time in the evenings before 9pm and i don't like having too late an end time.

that scheduling trick is good and works .....its so much quicker now the ebay sell your item page than it ever used to be :)

NappyShed Schedule trick - List items whenever you have spare time adding a time/day to schedule items to start then edit the auction just before you want it to go live and change the scheduled listing to 'start immediately'- then it doesn't cost anything!

Does that make sense?

I have spend all morning looking for my camera! I took photos of everything on Sunday now can't find the bloody camera.

Well i have finally found my camera and made a start on listing! Just accidentally listed one item now instead of scheduling! Oh well.

i now have 15 items listed.

Ebay taking a back seat to real life at the mo .......but sold a couple of things been paid for four and waiting on three.

I then spent most of my paypal money on a bunch of clothes for dd4 when i was looking for stuff for dd3 :)
I turned up to the dentist a week early and have a poorly dd4 at home as well
great start to the week x

My items end tonight. 10 out of 14 will sell which i am happy about!

Still need to list more but MrNC has needed the computer.
After 3 reminders I put in a non-paying bidder claim for the last item. No response 2 days later. Then MrNC phoned me at work today to say the guy was on the doorstep wanting the item. Luckily I could explain where it was and told him to get payment. Which the guy then paid. Just as well MrNC was in and I answered my phone!

Suppose I'd better not leave feedback saying "Buyer is a total numpty"... but he has already left postive for me...

Which mobile phone site did you use roosterroo?

I have a Samsung Tocco lite to sell but not sure where would be the best place or if i should chance Ebay.

I used the 'mazooma' website - not used them before and I am waiting for my postage bits to arrive. The phone had no extras - no box/charger/booklet so just the handset.

they have pictures on the site and give you price without signing up

Might be better on ebay if you have all the bits!

I'm back after a nice break from ebay, got a few things on tonight and loads more to go tomorrow night too. Just packed up the 7 things we sold yesterday, hopefully next week we'll sell more. Listings here
