Oh, my goodness! I pop back onto this thread and there are three lovely squishy babies. Congratulations to you both!
I finally bit the bullet and rang the GP for an appointment this morning, to discuss the whole thing as we moved from Cambridge to Yorkshire and I'm under Cambridge's recurrent miscarriage people. I know GP receptionists get a lot of flack, but I am quite angry. The woman on the phone asked what the appointment related to, and like an idiot instead of saying something vague like 'conception advice' (probably all she needed to know TBH), I went into detail. So I got a lecture about how the GP won't refer me to hospital unless there's a good reason, and have I recently miscarried, and blah blah.
Aaannnyway. Grr.
button, I'm so sorry it's still such a rollercoaster. Will they make you do higher dose suprecur, do you know?
sally, that is fab! Great news.
Just to add my tuppence to the AMH discussion - DP's was 13 at 35, and she got pregnant first time on IUI. Mine is around 50 (I forget exactly) and I'm still getting nowhere. It really does just take one egg, but I also think so many other things contribute that it really is very individual. It feels like such a big deal because it's the first test most of us take, but it isn't the be-all and end-all.
