Nearly there caution, this month is flying by! For me, at least, maybe because I have work I'm not getting through fast enough!

The train I am sitting in is delayed due to "lack of power". I'm dreading us being moved en masse onto the next train and having to stand for 1.5 hours. Need to work. Or sleep. Both require a seat!

Me and you caution always seem to have some medical appointment on the same day...my scan is on 2nd May

The month does seem to be going by quick witch - were a week into it already!

Caution, good news you'll the get the wisdom teeth out of the way soon. I had my 4 extracted under GA when I was 22 - stock up on very liquid soups and purées!

@Everhopeful76 i think it must be the effect of kefir and dried bananas together that helps you go - yesterday with kefir and Bourbons not the same effect... had terrible acid reflux during the night though 🤢
Kefir is fermented milk - tastes a bit like yoghurt - supposed to be extremely good for gut health. I make my own you just need the starter cultures and milk. The goat milk version did not work so well... i think I was supposed to change measurements but could not find recipe sheet...

Re the twins thing, one IUI cycle my clinic told me 2 follies were goers and this could result in twins, was I happy to proceed. At the time I was like ooh yeah, 2 for the price of 1. What a silly idiot I was LOL

Just to show you I'm losing it...
The top is from yesterday and the bottom 2 this morning - all on FMU
They are getting darker, yesterday I could barely see a second line. When I tested on opks for my IUIs I never got any pink colour on the second line (which was a squinter up to OTD)
I'm too scared to test on my latest FRER...
I'm 6dp5dt today so 11dpo

Oh and forgot to say the cramping has mostly gone. My bbs aren't as tender as they were after the trigger but since yesterday I have an itchy nipple (yes, just 1!)

Luckily I'm seeing an architect this morning and then going to a birthday party so will hopefully get so distraction

@Pez - I might be being stupid but why are you testing on opks if you've had transfer?

Because opk can detect HCG too and sometimes they're even more sensitive than digital HPT

I'm doing opks as a non pressure test!

It would stress me out more Pez! I've read other threads on here where the consensus is that it can lead to false hope. I'd rather you did an hpt and at least got a valid answer!

Pez, sending for the craziness. If you going to pee on sticks early, pee on the sticks designed for the purpose! I have no comment on the accuracy of OPKs for this as have never looked into it but I've heard other people doing it on here. I'm fascinated by the psychology of it. Is it low pressure because you can tell yourself the result might be wrong?

P.S. Don't ask the architect to squint at any of your lines.

Oh right that's interesting pez I thought that ppl did that to distinguish that the trigger shot was out of their system and then found the test went to negative before building up to a feint line positive from 11 days with hpt. You may well have a developing line for pregnancy now. I had those terrible cramps, that then waned and waited for almost 17 days and got my very strong positive then.

Shoes the voice of reason 😊. I know I just shouldn't and actually read this morning that some women get a positive again just before their period. I did use opks for my last 2 IUI cycles and never got a second line but yes, I'm very much aware it could lead to false hope.

Ah ah witch, I had to hide all my paraphernalia before the architect arrived (she's just left). I hid my pessaries, clinic folder and used opks.

Not sure how you manage to wait for 17 days ever!!!!

I can't believe the total cost for the whole drawings, engineer, planning application, and Thames water application to move the drain only came up to the cost of 1 IUI (roughly £2k). My relationship with money has definitely changed these past months...

Your iui was 2 k pez? Omg!! I did have a different relationship with money. I have got ppi money back and guess where it ll end up going. This is why I wonder whether donor embryos might lead to my goal quicker, but pre occupied with getting Mabel's full sibling, rather than a dibling. Altho officially wouldn't b related at all unless I used the same donor sperm with donor egg... hibling perhaps!!! Ha!!

Will you test with yr frer? I don't know how I waited either but I was getting unfamiliar symptoms that I was feeling positive about but with regular dips of this hasn't worked, I remain barren. I told myself I was going to test on the sun (was Easter Sunday last year) but the weather was crap till 3, I waited for a rainbow to arrive, was positive test and then Mabel ultimately died in rainbows hospice in Loughborough, so she ll always be my rainbow and any new child will be my sunshine!!! So maybe if I get to testing stage with ivf this time I will test post 11 days transfer, time will tell

A bit less than £2k I guess (940 including HFEA fee + £650 magic potion plus about £150 in bloodwork). That's the normal price for unmedicated... but then if i include the tests and vitamins it definitely takes me close to £2k!

What a lovely story getting your + at the same time as a 🌈 . I've now read that some women get a LH surge before AF 😩. I'll test tomorrow on a FRER, I'll be 7 days past transfer then.

Late, hope you're ok and had a good time at the wedding yesterday. Is there anything new your end?

pez google is not yr friend here!!! When would your af be due? Before yr otd? Did u mention you had flu like, sore throat symptoms earlier in week? I had those and others have mentioned the same on other threads. I had a metallic taste in mouth even before test date so was hopeful based on that but I didn't have anything to compare it to. Others have no symptoms till 8 weeks pregnant. It's a head! Xx

Period due on OTD (Tuesday) but last time i had to wait 4 full days for AF to start after stopping progesterone.
I can't really say I have any real symptoms. I had a dry throat after the night where the cramping peaked but I feel perfectly normal at the moment!
This could really go either way...

Finally got the call from embryology (1.15pm is NOT morning!) & 11 eggs have fertilised. Provisionally booked I'm for Day 3 transfer on Monday but they will call before 11am Monday if they think they can go to Day 5.

That's good news cazinge finger crossed for the next few days

Well the people I was babysitting for last night got in at 2.30am so I have just spent the last 3 hours napping (waste of sunny day 😡) & they said they would pay me and didn't (they are good friends but they said they would give me something as know I'm saving hard but I wasn't going to be like hey where's the £20 (I looked after them from 7pm-2.30am how much would that cost an actual babysitter) ANYWAY.... not long till I'm going round next friends to babysit. At least tomorrow's meant to be nice too :)
