Munro, After mine I've been ok. Certainly never sore but that could just be me.
Kwick your allotment looks fab! I have a garden buts it a bit neglected. I try but I never do a very good job. I cut the grass and try to tidy up.
still waiting for my ovulation this month so I can tell when I'm due and have an idea of when I'll be doing my stimulated iui.

Munro I was always a bit crampy for about a week after my iui. They were all a bit different. Hope it eases for you soon.

Clinic just rang me back, blood tests and wee wee sample all fine, all clear of any nasty things and immune to the other stuff-phew!!! Thought they would be but thought I should check (I chased this morning as didn't want to get further down the line and they suddenly go oh u never rang for your results and you have....)

Emailed about donor too and they are shipping tomorrow ( I was awake worrying about everything last night) main other worry of the moment is either it won't work or I'll have 2+babies-both of which freak me out.
Hope everyone else is having a less lets freak out about everything day x

kwick excellent growage there! I've got my tomato plants and herb garden to plant in next weekend! This weekend was all about my border plants...

pez I have consult with the new clinic on Saturday, and review of failed transfer with current fc next Tuesday. Regardless it'll be August before I'm able to go again as they like you to have at least 3 periods, preferably 4, which brings me to July, and my mums away the when the EC and transfer would be happening and she is my designated person, so that means august.

So now it's a case of thinking about new donor and where to get him from!

Pickle deep breaths! Well done for lining up all the practicalities. It will be OK! It might not work immediately but it's highly likely to work within a few goes. There is an extremely small chance you will end up with multiples in which case you would have a very tough start but you would cope and would soon not be able to imagine it any other way.

Yeh I don't worry every night I just have some days that it all gets me-doesn't even have to be about ttc, work,life anything. Fingers crossed for lovely sleep tonight:)

Consultant said I'd have 20% chance of twins and 1% of triplets

Bloody hell, how come the twins chance is so high?? I'd be worried too if I thought I had those odds!

Although two friends (with several kids each) have both said "wouldn't it be nice if you had twins". I think it would be really tough on my own but if it happens I suppose I'd get on with it. It just must be so hard to give them both enough attention.

Medicated iui

God I know-one of my friends is the same,keeps going on about oh your family would be made all in one go....yeh I won't be able to afford my mortgage or eat but yeh they'd have each other yayyy 😣

I wonder what my odds are of twins - my dad is a twin

Does your clinic have a maximum limit of follicles for IUI? Many clinics don't let patients trigger with 3 or more mature follicles so I think the triplet risk is if both eggs fertilise and one of them splits. The odds of this happening are low so you can relax 😊

Yeh they aspirate if there are too many, because I was telling them about the quints program on sky from iui and the nurse was like is that in America??? We don't let people have that many follicles

Thank you ever so much for allotment praise - we got it last May (at that time I had been on a wait list for 9 years!!!). It was just after my first MC and it really proved to be a saviour as I was grieving. I hope this will be the case again now. We have managed to do so much - but I am normally the order giver - my mum and SIL do most of the heavy lifting

stork is that 3 periods after IVF? I went straight on to IUI after my failed attempt...

I still have not contacted IVI - hopefully will get the chance this week.

I just met with my boss to hear new salary etc for fixed term job - will be a drop but a doable drop - what a relief!

Oh, of course. Forgot about the medication. Fraternal twins do run in families but only down the female side, so you're safe in that respect.

I don't have any twins in my family so fingers crossed

I don't think thats toooooo high chance for twins is it? Whats the normal stats? I do know it goes up as you age as apparently your body starts chucking eggs out!

Kwik I find work stress so hard - so glad its not terrible & you can move forwards! I've been waiting for a promotion for over a year and am trying to decide if I can give them an ultimatum or just suck it up... will probably depend on if I get pregnant or not... in first couple of cycles...

Twins!!! Arrgh...my DH is constantly saying how good it would be to get twins. I guess it would been that we wouldn't have to do iui again which would be a huge bonus!!! But we are unmedicated iui so not much chance of twins xxx

Re twins - I had 3 x medicated IUI & was on the v lowest dose every time as the clinic only want to mimic your body's natural cycle. Even after 2 failed attempts they wouldn't increase my dosage as they don't want to increase your risk of multiples (as far as I know my odds are 'normal').

I had another scan yesterday and good news is my follicles have started growing! But unfortunately still aren't big enough; largest was 15mm & there were lots 11-14. They have dropped my menopur back down to 300 now and I am back for a scan tomorrow so earliest EC could be is Friday now. I have now spent £800 on drugs !

Maybe your follicles like to take their time to develop good quality eggs Cazinge. Lots at 11-14 sounds good as these will mature over the next few days 😊. A lot of mine were this size 3 days before EC so don't worry
