H, my husband of 24 years is wanting a seperation, we have no kids and no house. He works and pays for all bills, he has said he would pay for a periond time my rent etc, how long is realistic can i expect this

It’s basically something you’ve done successfully for years so could be an option.

If you found a suitable live-in position it could also resolve your housing issues?

Not a high earner?!! He earns £46,000 a year - that is very very high! I really do think the people who say that on here are taking the piss. Also, marriage is a contract and he should definitely be supporting you if he is the one who wants to divorce and is obviously the one that broke the contract by cheating.

No am not signed off by a doctor just my choice to not work

46k is not a high earner, its more than the average (28k as far as I remember) but it's not fine dining every night, with diamonds and cavier

A high earner is more like 6 figures, 00s of 000s.

When can he stop paying for Op who closes not to work?

£46k isn't going to run two homes. A high earned is someone who earns in the £100k.
