Listen up men of MN. A recent thread had me wondering if my orgasms are a bit bland. It's apparent that quite a few MNters see a glorious array of colours, and in some cases infrastructure, during climax. Not to mention, hearing bagpipes, orchestra etc.

This has me wondering if it's something exclusive to the female orgasm or if some men also experience it? And if so, what do they see?

I don't want this to turn into a TAAT, but curiosity has got the better of me.

No, that's ridiculous. They're having you on. TBH, not sure women actually get orgasms. Not like Men do, obviously.

Anyway, I'd say it is more grunting and sighing than rainbows.

I agree someone's having you on! Bagpipes and colours, what the fuck?! You get an explosively intense peak of sexual pleasure around the clitoris and vagina general area lasting I dunno up to 10 seconds maybe and everything gets very wet (even more than it already was). No hallucinating about colours or music! I imagine it must be pretty similar to a man's orgasm so you really don't have to imagine that hard.

synesthesia is one of the weirdest brain-malfunctions (if I'm allowed to call it that?!!
... it would be pretty cool to have (also from a non-sexual point of view!)
... I wonder if there are any downsides? - apart from, obviously, hearing bagpipes...

I think you would probably have to have the condition in the first place. - and isn't it quite rare?

MyFamily, I am aware that it "doesn't just happen to us" as I've never experienced it either. However, it obviously does happen to some of us. I'm wondering if it also happens to some men, and if they experience it in the same way.

I definitely get colours! No music that would be strange, although maybe I’ll shag a Scot and see if I get bagpipes! But I get orange for slow drawn out orgasms, and blues for really intense fast ones. Sometimes get other colours too and I haven’t figured out why yet
