How does it feel tone in here?

I'm just pooling around on my iPad, wasting time, when I realized that Dadsnet is in the club section of mn and wondered how people felt about that?

Would it be more relevant to be in the parenting section, or does there even need to be a separate section?

Just curious, really, but it sort of feels like being a Dad is some kind of hobby group you might sign up to on a Thursday evening, when I suspect that really it's part of everyday life.

Isn't it, changlinz ?

KickTheGuru · 15/08/2012 17:45

Sensing marital disharmony if I start cooking something now that will take 2 hours.

I can create a diversion by just yelling at him as he walks through the door though?? ;)

AnyFucker · 15/08/2012 17:46

MrG, are you telling me I should stay on the Relationships board ?

Changlingz · 15/08/2012 17:48

You seem to be desperately trying to start a confrontation.

MrGin · 15/08/2012 17:48

My quick disk suggestion is a chicken and creme fresh pasta.

Bit of butter in the pan, garlic, lemon sage, and some cooked chicken breast in thin slices. Once the chicken bits are turning brown add the creme fresh, a little bit of lemon and salt / pepper and viola !

Takes about 10 mins.

Ironically, I made a massive batch of exactly the same on Monday - added some bacon to it and have been eating it ever since!

I have a lovely rack of lamb though that I think I will cook for dinner.

I have a fabulous husband so I think he deserves a nice meal tonight Smile

OwlLady · 15/08/2012 17:51

AnyFucker · 15/08/2012 17:53

Those deflection skills need a bit of spit'n'polish, MrG

Enjoy your risotto

AnyFucker · 15/08/2012 17:54

Was it, Owl ?

That's interesting. I know he's been here for yonks. Did he talk to himself at first then ?

AnyFucker · 15/08/2012 17:55

I bet he was a pioneer of Dadsnet also Smile
