I'm just pooling around on my iPad, wasting time, when I realized that Dadsnet is in the club section of mn and wondered how people felt about that?

Would it be more relevant to be in the parenting section, or does there even need to be a separate section?

Just curious, really, but it sort of feels like being a Dad is some kind of hobby group you might sign up to on a Thursday evening, when I suspect that really it's part of everyday life.

Well I appear to have been banned, so I'll just use this last post before being shut down to say it's ridiculous.

If so many people are speaking out about this, do you not think they have a point? Ok, some may not be putting that point forward very succintly and some may fall into the trap of blaming the entire group, which I can see is not fair. But there is an obvious problem and it's not going to go away by banning people.

I think a small group has special untouchableness, a kind of otherness that elevates them above the rest of us mere mortals. Not too sure why, as it's been covered ^
