There are quite a lot of football fans on MN, and also loads of football-haters. If we hide here in Dadsnet, none of the detractors will find us. But if they do, they are welcome to come here and moan.

just realised I haven't followed BB's template in his OP:

3.dd has nooo interest in footie, though we play in the back garden and she is a mean tackler. She won tickets in a raffle to see a Man city game. But it was a school night so I forbade it.......that was close!

1. Weird season so far. Wilkins fiasco was absurd and there is much more to tell I reckon. Like seeing Harry and Spurs playing such attractive football. We are in an experiemnt to see how badly we can play and still win the tittle again. Nice to see Liverpool struggling above the rel. zone. Europe - not sure at all. WC - obv. open to any purchaser.

yes Ken - fabulous player disappeared of the Stoke when I wasn't looking.

Yeah, something went on with Kenwyne & Keane I think. Jones sometimes looked like he didn't want to be there.

In the North Bank we finally got a song for Marouane Chamakh (from Morocco), which was quite amusing when first sung, but is irritating the more you think about it:

Surely the second line would make more sense if it was "He comes from a place not far from Rabat", rather than an entirely other continent?

I think a months suspension would be reasonable. If you said a sexist comment in the workplace would you be instantly sacked?
