There are quite a lot of football fans on MN, and also loads of football-haters. If we hide here in Dadsnet, none of the detractors will find us. But if they do, they are welcome to come here and moan.

You don?t have to be male to post here, of course. (No-one would say women can?t post in the Dadsnet section, just like no woman would EVER say men aren?t welcome on Mumsnet?)

Footy fans please sign in with

Spurs fan here. Hardly surprising , was it ?
Serves them right. And I think they may have already scuppered their chances, in the Premiership, of getting into champions league next season.
Dh is the devoted fan. And wull hear nothing of what I say, but I think I speak sense.

5-1 - 9-2

On the ball city... never mind the danger....

Who's the pride of Anglia? Norwich... Norwich....

ledkr · 23/04/2011 19:08

I LOVE KENNY DALGLISH Grin

eeore · 24/04/2011 04:05

I do have to say that having rewatched Billy Davis's comments after the Norwich game, that in the perfect world the three promoted teams will be Norwich, QPR and Forest.

The last thing the Premier League needs is Cardiff.

BelfastBloke · 24/04/2011 11:01

QPR didn't quite clinch promotion this weekend, did they? Are they likely to soon, or did other results change things?

I'd forgotten about this thread Grin
But, bloody hell Sunderland actually won a game and scored 4 goals [bushock] How did that happen?

BelfastBloke · 25/04/2011 07:45

Losing to Bolton and out of the title race. If Arsenal beat Man Utd on Sunday it will only help Chelsea, not ourselves.

Hello!
I'm a Saints fan. I loathe P*mpey and Man Utd. Both my kids were given Saints kits from a very early age (dh is a Birmingham city fan but we live in Southampton so I win).
I am loving the season and hoping for automatic promotion this season as I can't cope with the stress of playoffs!

Osama bin Laden used to go to watch Arsenal when he was living in London. Arsenal fans had chants about it. The USA have killed a Gooner.

Arsenal beat Man Utd yesterday, but it's too little, too late for the title. Only really helps Chelsea.

Congrats Eeore.

Now to decide, while I'm bundling the kids to bed quick, whether to watch the Man Utd Schalke game live, or to watch Real Madrid Barca recorded from last night (don't tell me the score, tho I know the overall outcome.

Thanks BelfastBloke.

It's strange really.... it's been a long time since Norwich had a manager who build a team... and even more strange.... a winning team.

I guess we shall see what happens next season.... top 4 will do me... lol

Yeah, I've got no particular love for the Welsh, but would be quite happy if Reading made it back into the Prem.

Forest are a proper club, though.

Apparently the announcement of who has been relegated is subject to a super injunction - and further, it is forbidden to ever talk about Ryan Giggs scoring.
