At least purplediva22 is able to talk sensibly about things. I agree with you purplediva that they should do face checks on social media sites. It would stop a lot of fraudsters.

In almost every single comment you find a way to suggest Nikki isn’t that bad. ‘Oh it was wrong BUT ….’
The 2 johnnies are worse.
The 2 johnnies shouldn’t have done what they did.
Men catfish all the time.
What about this other catfish?
GAA players deserve it because someone raped someone.

It’s truly some weird mental gymnastics to constantly try to downplay this with literally every comment.

It really is like the girl who phoned the 2 johnnies after the 2nd podcast to claim she was the girl who’s photos were stolen, give them all the backstory of her real life so it was believable and then repeat over and over that sure Nikki was wrong, but it wasn’t really that bad, no one was as hurt, it wasn’t really that bad and she had no ill feelings, Nikki told her she was going to stop and she was happy with that because again it wasn’t really that bad.

I think a lot of people have given up on the thread with all the derailing.

It's a shame really. On another note have you seen that tattle is now called 8cafe?! I saw people saying that new accounts could be added so I took the opportunity to try but you still need a code, boo!! It seems that it's only those who already have accounts can make new ones. We all need to get on there, no derailing lol 😆

Deep down that girl must be so lonely , it doesn't seem like she has any friends. I'm sure her housemates (if she has any) don't want to be associated with her and colleagues definitely don't either. It's a sad existence really but all of her own making. I'm interested to know how she teaches Irish when she would have learned the Ulster dialect. We used to dread the aurals in school where you'd hear the Ulster dialect. Couldn't understand a word. Surely it's confusing to the students? Or maybe she didn't have any Irish until she started studying at college..

Catfishing is currently not a crime.

They could do so many things that would instantly stop catfishing.
