Thought I had gotten away unscathed today then some messages landed from the Union and I think they’re trying to convince me to walk. Have a meeting with the tossers at work tomorrow so my stress levels were high as it was. Have eaten a multi bag of crisps and a box a jam tarts for supper. That made me feel awesome. Not.

Don't worry about the junk food, comfort eating is exactly what it's there for when days are this brutal. About tomorrow, don't you let those tossers see you upset. If the Union is hinting at walking, it means you have cards to play, but don't make any massive decisions while your stress is this high. Go into that meeting calmly, listen to what they have to say, write everything down, and don't agree to anything on the spot. You've got this sweetheart and we are all behind you 🤗

Spent £17 in Iceland , Tuesday is a 10% off day for oaps like me with my bonus card , l never go in there but got McCain's frozen spuds for £1.85 on offer. Anchor spreadable £5 on offer and great deal on their milk 2x 2lts for £3 . Also 7 x Crunchies , Milk choc bars x 7 and Wispas x 7 at £2 a pkt. They were going like hotcakes 😁

Yay to the friend paying yesterday @Frugal25 . I used to do this with my friend but l always used to pay because l am a soft sod, not because she was a sponger TBF , it was me 🙄, now we pay for our own but l do share my pud with her or buy one for her if l decide to get one . What are we like 🙄🤣.

Spending yesterday, about £30, Sainsburys. Used some more Nectar points for Christmas stuff, including three boxes of Cadbury’s chocolate fingers at 95p offer,each. In our house, everyone receives one as a present from the cat at Christmas.😺
Today, jar of jam and some fruit and veg at the market, around £11.
Theatre tickets for the ballet, not sure who I’m taking yet but they were selling out £30.Glad to book in person because otherwise they charge a booking fee.
@DirtyGertiefromno30 , sorry to hear about your Dh, hope he is better soon. I once accused Mrcats of sitting about in his dressing gown of doom, and he indignantly said it was his dressing gown of snuggliness!

We now have a working new oven! Not sure what the damage is yet as our neighbourly electrician is doing another job for us, so will bill for them together. I sent him home with a bag of apples from the garden, by way of deposit.

Well. Survived my first full time Tuesday. Also cleaned entire house and planned wedding and sorted shopping and meal plan for the week. Literally will be falling asleep at yoga.

@RumBananaSundae , I shall try a cake. I have quite a few bananas squirrelled in the freezer so most likely a banana bread. I love baking, so very excited to have an oven that hopefully, will not burn my things.

NSD for me today. Fun morning at our HE friends for Geography. This week DD (4) has suddenly developed an amazing amount of independent imaginative/pretend play which is so lovely. This afternoon she spent 2hrs in her bedroom playing some sort of elaborate make believe game- we could hear her chatting away but she only came out to us about 3 times in 2hrs!

That sounds like a lovely plan @Twogingercats , l had a look at a you tube video of Manon and it looks beautiful and very romantic 🤗 . Cinema screenings give you the best view too🎟️✨ l think you will love it 💗
