Am I wrong to feel the people of this country are using the "Cost of Living" narrative to justify not helping migrants and refugees who seek refuge for themselves? Neglecting our British values, passing the buck to Rwanda and European countries. The attitude towards those fleeing war zones and risking everything to come to this country on harsh waters is outrageous!

I was in the corner shop today and over heard a couple of women making digs about foreigners. To make unjustified claims such as "it makes us unsafe", "we don't have jobs" or my personal favourite - "they don't integrate into society." What on earth has happened to our British values? To make others feel welcome and to help others in need of help!

Every human has a right to safety, affordable housing, food, water, education and a healthcare system. Those are all things our wonderful country can provide and quite frankly has a moral obligation to provide for those coming from other parts of the world that aren't as fortunate as us.

Why don't you go love in a country that has open borders, you don't have to live here!

There are so many countries that offer different values and cultures there is no reason for anyone or group to impose their wya of life on another country when there are other options.

So by all means if you don't like what our government and country has to offer, if you want a country that is open borders go live in that country please

Why would I sell my house? I haven’t said anyone should sell houses and my father was a refugee so what is your point? You have a spare unoccupied room.

I don’t, my father did. I have been here for well over 30 years. Why shouldn’t they have the right to come here? Male or not!

France gives them plenty of help and is a safe country.

Because my home is here, nobody is imposing anything! People are voting for changes. Who said I want happy in England?

I think a home & budget swap for 8 weeks at the higt of winter would be great.

Some refugees like the idea of western countries, they like the freedoms and the benefits of living in a civilised society.

Some refugees, for reasons known only to themselves, don't want to integrate, or embrace European Values.
They bring their backwards culture with them and then try and turn Europe into the Third World shithole they came from.

Why not? Germany accepted over a million refugees while Britain did nothing.

Millions upon millions of Muslims arrive in Europe and intergrate well. They are allowed there own beliefs and values and that should be respected.
