Wotsits - they are now half Wotsit in my view.

Soreen malt loaf - picked up one in Tescos for £1, put it next to the ones I already had from Lidl in the freezer - nearly half the size.

I know I’m late to the party but any others leaping out at people?

I’m meaning very recent shrinkages - sorry for lack of clarity 😐

Not recently but Ice Creams, i used to order them for work years ago and could see they were getting smaller from the product descriptions.

transformandriseup · 30/06/2022 16:50

Also baby wipes

makingmiracles · 30/06/2022 16:53

Tescos tortilla wraps, literally almost now the size of the small wraps they did/do

Ginisatonic · 30/06/2022 17:00

Nescafé Azerra coffee. Price has gone up and size has reduced.

ShahRukhKhan · 30/06/2022 17:03

Monster munch, wispas, wham bars

OrlandointheWilderness · 30/06/2022 17:06

Wagon wheels.

BluebellsareBlue · 30/06/2022 17:07

Creme eggs!! And I'm furious about it!!!

Witchesbelazy · 30/06/2022 17:08

Cornettos

TwoBigNoisyBoys · 30/06/2022 17:09

Not quite the same, but Fairy Liquid seems much more watery than it used to be, so I find myself using much more?

notacooldad · 30/06/2022 17:10

I nearly bought a toffee crisp at the garage yesterday and didnt bother. There's nothing to them these days!

Buythebag40 · 30/06/2022 17:11

The salad I buy for my lunch from Waitrose - it's gone from 5 to 3 tomatoes, less lettuce and less feta cheese. For £3 I think I'm going to start making my own.

Also twister ice creams - I think you can now only get the mini ones yet they're the same price. I've not seen the full size ones for ages.

And haagen daz mini ice cream tubs don't have the plastic spoon in any more - I know this may be to do with the environment but if so surely just provide a wooden spoon? I always forget and then have to get back up to go and get a spoon once I've settled on the sofa! (I know, I'm lazy)!

hennybeans · 30/06/2022 17:14

Cadbury popping jelly candy chocolate, big bar. It's shrunk about 30g in size ( I can't confirm exact amount as I've eaten it). Soon enough the sharing size won't be for sharing anymore!

stayingpositiveifpossible · 30/06/2022 17:28

ice creams and lollies from iceland

Whereas previously some had four in a box, now there is three.

RadicalFern · 30/06/2022 17:28

Jaffa cakes. There used to be more of them in a sleeve…

Mindymomo · 30/06/2022 17:31

All cakes have shrunk. You wouldn’t mind but some things are out of stock for around 10 weeks, then suddenly they are in stock in smaller sizes and packaging.

Gingerbeerfear · 30/06/2022 17:34

I really wished I had some old wrappers to compare with new but I’ve long since recycled them all. Tesco have Pringles for £2 a pot (looked a much smaller pot!) Clubcard offer £1.65, previously £1.25 just normally without the Clubcard offer

Pizza Express pizzas. TINY!

Triffid1 · 30/06/2022 17:36

Waitrose 3 for £10 steaks... used to be 200g, now 150g.

One that's been shrinking for years so not uniquely credit crunch are Pret breakfast baguettes!

CavernousScream · 30/06/2022 17:37

Some 800g loaves of bread are now 780g

catwithflowers · 30/06/2022 17:40

Hula Hoops maybe that's a good thing as I shouldn't be eating them anyway

Trinity65 · 30/06/2022 17:41

Not recent but Wagon Wheels are a sorry shadow of their former selves
Ditto Jaffa Cakes, Jublees and a packet of Crisps .

Trinity65 · 30/06/2022 17:41

RadicalFern · 30/06/2022 17:28

Jaffa cakes. There used to be more of them in a sleeve…

Definitely
I also remember them being somewhat thicker than they now are

Gingerbeerfear · 30/06/2022 17:42

Forgotten another one - 2 raw chicken breasts in Lidl - I got one full chicken breast then two of those little mini breasts in the packet. Too small to do anything much with. That’s a meal lost to us.

Tescos tortilla wraps, literally almost now the size of the small wraps they did/do

You know they do them in a couple of sizes small and large
