I may well love happy for you to pm me.

Go for the job better to have the option to say no thanks rather than kick yourself for not trying

Lovemaltesers · 15/09/2021 21:15

Very true life and I always do much better when I go into interviews with the mindset of “this will be good experience” rather than being desperate for the job.

I will send you a pm

HumbugWhale · 15/09/2021 22:12

You absolutely need pastel pens for the course Gen, they are essential! Love stationery!

Nsd. Big shop planned for tomorrow though.

marthasmum · 15/09/2021 23:14

gen I agree, new pens are essential to your success. In fact I may treat myself to some too
love sounds very exciting, fingers crossed!
sing glad you are well and sounds like you have plenty to keep you busy, I’m sure something is round the corner for you.
Work is piling on and morale is quite low, we are very short staffed. DS1 observed that he doesn’t think I like my job because I’m always stressed…this is kinda true at the moment though I’m hoping it will improve when I meet the new students and am back face to face next week. Felt bad I am not a more positive role model though
On the plus side DO and the DS’s are going to see Manchester City play this weekend, and DD and I are shopping together, so I’m looking forward to that. I thought I might take her for lunch in the gay village Smile
Tickets are already paid so not too spendy.

Wolfcub · 16/09/2021 06:02

Love yes definitely have some example iv questions so feel free to pm and I'll have a think.

lifelongfrugaleer · 16/09/2021 07:14

Can’t do work or study without a good range of stationary options - fact

ememem84 · 16/09/2021 07:19

New pens and maybe a new notebook gen

OP posts:
SingToTheSky · 16/09/2021 08:10

Oh yes, new notebook is essential too for sure! 😁

Bornlazy · 16/09/2021 09:21

New pens are a must Gen and sure to improve your coursework significantly 😉

Wolf I really need to change my energy supplier it just seems a bit of a faff but I think I'm probably on a high tariff so will need to bite the bullet and do a comparison. Hope your situation works out soon.

Love good luck with interview prep.

Meadow that's so exciting. On your date would be perfect giving you a few weeks off work to prepare before the baby arrives.

Nsd yesterday. Almost spent £7 on eBay but asked for a refund as I ordered 2 lots of 6 bars of soap and when the order went through it was only 1 of each - very complete scam misleading Hmm

Unescorted · 16/09/2021 09:23

Good luck Love

Martha if you can get tickets (free) at short notice Grayson Perry's Art Club exhibition is worth seeing. Log onto to Manchester Art Gallery website. DD & I went yesterday and really enjoyed it.

Sing sounds as if things are really positive in your world. Smile

DD and I spent a fortune in Manchester yesterday.... top money saving tip do not take newly split up daughter to her favourite art shop.

ememem84 · 16/09/2021 11:33

Interviews courses and new placements. All sounds like we’re all ticking along nicely here.

I’m off to get my ear pierced in a bit. A daith piercing which is meant to help with headaches. Since having the coil fitted in 2019 I’ve suffered more headaches. And also since being jabbed I’ve had more migraines round period time. So this should help. and look cool and badass

I found this the other day. And am going to try and live by it.

@Lovemaltesers check pm

marthasmum · 16/09/2021 12:02

Thanks unescorted I'll take a look at that
em I like the quote. I once heard a radio interview with the woman whose name I forget...who had 5 children and was touted in the 80s as a superstar in the world of city finance...:she said much the same.
meadow how very exciting, sending good vibes

HumbugWhale · 16/09/2021 12:05

Ooh let me know how much it hurts Em, I am considering it!

MeadowHay · 16/09/2021 12:26

Spends: £3 playgroup. Unlikely to be any other spends today. I need to quickly get a brew down me now as DD fell asleep in the buggy on the walk home...!

Agree about new stationary being a must. I meant to be at uni next September so am sure I will indulge a bit then Grin.

What would you clean fabric parts of a pram with where they aren't detachable so can't machine wash them? Will hoover it all but then I dunno what to use to clean fabric for it to be clean without ruining it?

ememem84 · 16/09/2021 12:33

meadow I’d start with dairy liquid.

It hurt. But no more than other piercings. I hyped myself up for it though abs have just had to eat a lot of sugar. Because felt a bit wobbly after.

All good though. Salad. Chocolate and a red coke.

HumbugWhale · 16/09/2021 13:25

Thanks Em and well done! Are you pleased with it?

Gensola · 16/09/2021 13:27

Well done em I’m well jeal, I want more ear piercings

ememem84 · 16/09/2021 15:30

She had to do a conch piercing as my daith apparently was too small. But that’s ok. This means though I can still have accupubcture on the daith. And the conch piercing is just nearby.

I’m super happy with it though. Have a white Opal in it. Yay.

Lovemaltesers · 16/09/2021 18:50

Thanks wolf . I’ll pm some info across to you. life has sent helpful stuff across already, so don’t worry if you don’t have time!

HumbugWhale · 16/09/2021 21:55

I too would like more ear piercings but I am too scared of it hurting and also what my mum would say Blush
