Happy birthday lonely 💐🎂🍾

Should be LSD, just the antihistamine I forgot to get 🤦‍♀️

howlathebees · 11/08/2020 13:53

£5 on ice cream. This heat is killing me now!!. Currently looking for holidays as we have fixed our caravan up but everywhere seems booked up!

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 11/08/2020 14:36

Madden, we are at Greenwich park. Went into the Queens House which was lovely and cool.
It is so hot though!

Wolfcub · 11/08/2020 18:12

Making aloo gobi, it's too fecking got to be cooking but it's frugal

Two loads of washing on the line

Had a b&q delivery at lunch time, wrong thing, can't fault them though they sent a driver to get the right thing from somewhere else, brought that to me and took away the wrong thing. Top customer service marks there.

Df has insured me on the camper van so we can have better days out, it's a long time since I've driven a van eeek

Played a few games with ds but have mostly read my book and taken cold pills and faffed with my ocado order. Need to think of something more exciting to do tomorrow

Thanks everyone! Yes, I like the number 44much more than 43. I work everything in 4's so hopefully it will be a good year!

Work this morning, just fine. A proper Sunday lunch at my parents, it's been so long since we had roast beef! Then cake at tea time. Was lovely.

Just home and flopping with my sewing! 💖

SnugglySnerd · 11/08/2020 19:17

Happy birthday Lonely, sound like a great day!

My mum just sent some photos of me and the dcs that she took recently. I look about 6 months pregnant! I am getting rid of the deeply unflattering dress I was wearing and getting some core exercises going!

AdoraBell · 11/08/2020 20:51

£17 odd in Boots, large pack of antihistamines and some paracetamol.

ememem84 · 11/08/2020 20:57

Dh being a twat today. I’m really struggling with this cold. The heat is making it worse if I’m honest. My throat and ears are hurting again. Sigh.

He’s moaning because he’s still working. He has about 3 hours work to do apparently. Because he stopped at 2 to go to an appointment and then decided to sit out in the sun before picking the kids up. Have pointed out that if he didn’t take breaks for appointments and sun bathing he’d not be working now....

ChristmasSeacow · 11/08/2020 23:45

Not had time to post yet, but just to say Happy Birthday to Lonely while its still today!

Another beach day. Thank goodness for our small beach umbrella, I’d have passed out otherwise. It started really misty, no one else there, then turned into a scorcher!

Girliefriendlikespuppies · 11/08/2020 23:52

Happy birthday lonely (just got in there on time!)

I've been assignment writing all day, I better bloody pass!!

Unescorted · 12/08/2020 07:22

lonely - so pleased you had a good day.

wolf I am jealous of your camper status. I want I want I want...…

Anyway back to work. see you all about lunchtime.

Wolfcub · 12/08/2020 08:33

Slightly better night pain wise. Not so good on the ds prowling the house and heat wise but the latter is true if everyone.

One load of washing in, just finishing a cuppa in bed before I get up for real but it's really going to be too hot to do anything today including cracking on with the decorating as the paint will dry too quickly - feels like a waste of time off really and ds will be foul as he's been up all night

Might take the van for an exploratory pootle to the ice cream shop as a test run. I'm very nervous about driving it, I'm never ever nervous about driving, I love driving it's always been a fundamental part of my independent streak!

shocker of a nights sleep. i think partly to do with the fact i took a "day time" sudafed instead of a night time one, the heat, dd's sleep regression etc.

have been on a zoom call this morning - sat out in the garden as thought the fresh air would help me not fall asleep. Smile

i love rising wolf. but have never driven a van. something about that scares me. i am fiercely independent. it winds dh up sometimes i think

Wolfcub · 12/08/2020 12:54

Budget review done.

I may have bought another duvet cover in the John Lewis sale (£43), I've just washed and dried the one I bought last week and the quality is excellent so much better than my supermarket cheapies with their ripped button holes

Took last nights curry leftovers to dp's so they don't have to cook tonight.

Thinking about putting a third load of washing on but not keen on moving

Hi everyone.
We had a lovely day out yesterday.
Spends £10 something on drinks and ice lollies throughout the day.
Travel £3
Then morrisons on some snacks for during the week and some packed lunch stuff for Friday, £11.55.

Wolfcub · 12/08/2020 14:30

Cupboard audit done and out of date things and jars with blown poppers binned.

Have made a cupboard inventory list to help it get used and stop me buying any more bloody tinned tomatoes as I have loads

OP posts:
CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 12/08/2020 14:37

wolf, I did my cupboards last week. I had to throw a few things away too, but it is better orginised now and I have a list of things in date order, so should stop me from throwing things and buying things I don't need.

Today is a NSD.
