Christmas with pregnancy nausea is pants. I was in that stage with DS having only found out ten days earlier (our anniversary, my present to him was the pee stick 😂). And had then been in hospital with toddler DD who’d got a vomiting thing and ended up on a drip. Got out on the 23rd!

Everything wrapped except a couple of gift cards for the friends who are coming tomorrow. I feel wide awake 🙄

I’ve already had an idea for a Christmas present next year 😳 if the Caglets are still massively into making films, I’m going to get them logo t-shirts/polo shirts, or paint my own, with their film company name (they have one they came up with) 😍

I have downloaded the animation software that goes with the kit, after a minor panic it seems to be working ok.

Doh just realised I repeated myself. I haven’t even had more than a sip of baileys either.

All done but I am still feeling wired!

@Happierwithouthim I've also been awake for the last hour even though DC will probably sleep till after 8; I feel very silly to be the most excited person in the house!

I got to be the first one to congratulate my friend on her Christmas Eve baby so I guess it was worth being up early

Worked yesterday but managed to finish a bit early & get to the Christingle service. Got wrapping done on Sunday, so last night was just about food prep & we watched Gremlins, or at least dh & I did, the Dec were most unimpressed by its eighties cheese! It was the first time we haven't done the Father Christmas stuff, as although dd knew, she still wanted to keep it all going. So this year it is stockings, pillowcases & the Dec are sleeping in. I've a long list to get ticked off before dinner & at some point may collapse in a heap! No study today.

I am building lego while the fellas play the switch. There was a brief moment of alarm when the new switch game seemed not to be working, but it is fine now.

Morning? 5am here. They came in and woke ds before 7...presents are open and the dc have drifted off to see whats what. Dp is very pleased with his phone, more excited than the dc!

My ps4 controller is royal blue. At least I can have a log in now and watch you tube without having to ask ds for "his password" so cute on his controller.

Dh is making the Christmas lunch. Mysterious magical whotsits happening in the kitchen.

The white company are absolute wankers, no free returns this year & their sizing is so random.

Dh bought me a onesie but it’s going back & he’s ordered me more pyjamas for loungewear instead. I’m going to pay the return postage because otherwise he’ll end up paying loads.

Dh found that I had not bought carrots, but I went and harvested the carrots in ds's vegetable patch and they are perfect and really surprisingly large. #score.

I didn't buy shower gel despite running out over a week ago been using bathgel I'm not filthy ----
Now I've got 3 showergels & one bath foam to choose from

Dh proudly showed me his finished and presented lunch-on-plate (burned beef, burned potatoes and burned carrots) and I screamed with laughter and shouted "Oh Jesus!". I think I may need to work on my poker face for next year. He seemed to enjoy eating it.
