!£250 paid into joint account (Christmas money for us)

£24 boots on snore relief strips (I have a cold and can’t take decongestants good lord preggo is glam!) tissues paracetamol salt and vinegar squares (x4 seems to be the only crisps which stave off the nausea) and fruit pastels.

£14!!! Pet shop on catfaces food. Amazon have stopped stocking hers. So bye bye catfood savings.

LonelyOversharer · 03/01/2019 13:25

So my lovely little a6 bullet journal came today. I have taken an hour to eat some toast and start to fill it in. Just easy stuff, steps, current account balance (ensuring I check it daily, no head in sand), 50p and £2 savings 'jars', a page for tracking my credit card I still use, etc. Will either be fun, or a pita!

I went to my clarinet lesson feeling fairly dismal as I can't get high notes right, can't get timing right, and had only my freebie plastic clarinet with me. The teacher turns out to have a fantastic knack of finding the positive side though, found three tunes I can nearly play, and is entering me for grade 2. Yay!

Feeling human again now.

£20, that was. Should have said.

£45 in morrisons which tbh was better than I thought it would be!

Got back to a letter telling me my gastroscopy appointment is next week 😨 am not looking forward to that!!

lonely if I was closer I'd come round and help you sort out all the stuff! I love a good sort out, can you be ruthless and chuck 99% of it? I try to be as minimalist as possible now as too much stuff stresses me out.

WreckTangled · 03/01/2019 13:53

Oh girlie I've had one of those. Anything you want to know? I expect you know it all anyway Grin

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 03/01/2019 13:55

I went for a jog and feel a bit better, have rearranged my hair appointment for later today as work called and invited me to some training tomorrow, which will be really good for my new role.
Will prep dinner as hairdressers is at 4 and will do the food shop after.
Will also try to sort out a cupboard as you lot have motivated me!

Wolfcub · 03/01/2019 14:12

£4 parking
£62 diesel
£60 replacement bastard school shoes

Ds is pushing all of my buttons today and has already had me in tears. It will be early bedtime at this rate although I’m not sure yet which one of us that applies to!

AutumnLeaves12 · 03/01/2019 14:36

I just raided my upstairs food cupboard again. This business of having more than a ladybird's worth of food storage space is really making my life a lot easier.

Lonely mine is more utilitarian.... It has the info without the beautiful art work. I have always had a day book from school..it is only now it gets a fancy name.

I have started the clothes section of Marie Kondo. It could take longer than I first thought. The real challenge will be getting everyone else on board with it.

Unescorted · 03/01/2019 15:11

wolf have a hug. You are doing an amazing job at keeping it all together for him and you.

LonelyOversharer · 03/01/2019 15:15

wolf they are just absolute buggers at this age, and you have no relief from it just now. So ds had one shoe pinched?? I'm struggling with how this is even possible. I suspect it is under a bed having fallen out of some grubby scrots kit bag, a mum will find it and go postal, eventually.

girlie 90% of conservatory window sill/top of integrated storage bagged for the tip! 90% of stuff round tumble dryer also. So cathartic. Must go and get some windowlene and kitchen rolls. You actually cannot see out of some of the windows Blush

Dp is just back with a new broken engine. I cannot tell you how unimpressed I am. He has used all my fuel as well. Hurumph. Will go to the tip, drop dd3 off and go and buy come cleaning chemicals. Trust me, this is one instance where environmentally friendly stuff will not do.

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/01/2019 15:18

Zanussi/indesit/hot point I think are all the same company Lonely.

Nsd. I spent dhs money instead.

SneakyGremlins · 03/01/2019 15:30

Grin fluffy

I have just had stern words with my washing machine.

AutumnLeaves12 · 03/01/2019 15:41

lonely that happened to me at Brownie camp once. My hairbrush went missing and I came home looking like a bird's nest. dm said someone had pinched it, and she was even more convinced when it appeared in my school bag some weeks later. I was too gormless to notice, and did not mind looking like a bird's nest.

Sounds like a tough day @wolf; I hope its improves, and at least the holidays are coming to a close.

Updated spends:
£22 in TK Maxx on a dress and a jumpsuit; I didn't try them on so quite possibly both will be returned; or at most I will keep one.

WreckTangled · 03/01/2019 16:19

Sorry you're having a hard time with ds still wolf

Nsd here.

LonelyOversharer · 03/01/2019 16:21

Dp used so much of my fuel that my car won't start. So, we went in his precious baby car, dropped dd3 and filled the jerry can £7.50. He is currently filling my car from that so I can get it to the garage to fill it properly. I could scream, but am being zen.

Bang there goes my nsd, as I need a tank of fuel. So I paid for his trip for another broken engine.

He will feed the dc while I am out.

ememem84 · 03/01/2019 16:37

We are starting Marie kondo this evening apparently. With dh’s clothes.

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/01/2019 16:38

What’s he going to do with a broken engine?

£8 claimed from clicksnap and gree Jin, then £3 clicksnap for dh.

Bornlazy · 03/01/2019 16:41

Packed all the Christmas stuff back up into the loft and cleaned downstairs. Also sorted ds2's room a bit and found homes for most of his Christmas presents. This is the most productive I've been in weeks days.

Wolf you have my sympathies. You do a fantastic job with your ds and when he's older he will really appreciate that.

Hope your cold is better soon em its horrible when you can't really take anything to help you. Would Vicks help you if you're all stuffy?

Unescorted · 03/01/2019 17:17

Put some Vicks in a bowl of boiling water, lean over and put a towel over to capture the steam....close your eyes or it will sting. Breathe deeply. I had forgotten that method of nose / sinus clearing.

Unescorted · 03/01/2019 17:19

Make me go and clear the junk out of my wardrobe..... I am in a ruthless mood so I need to do it now. Also tomorrow is kitchen junk day (early start)

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/01/2019 17:29

Slowly catching up
Wreck Flowers you do not deserve to be spoken like that and mh is not an excuse imo.
Wolf big hugs to you. You are awesome.
Lonely, say the word I will help you declutter.
Hotpoint, zanussi and indesit are the same company.

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/01/2019 17:31
