Thank you! These are the only heels I can walk in and even then I've been a liability on a polished floor.😂😂

Ggreengrass1 · 30/12/2018 18:03

quite that sounds sore.
girlie hope all goes well with your dd tomorrow. My dd started fainting a few months ago, but doesn't have cardio appointment till February. Like your dad she feels anxious about it.
I finally conquered my ironing mountain. Feeling rather exhausted. Enjoying watching "Consumed" on Netflix. It should inspire me to have a declutter.

QuiteisbringingFrugalback · 30/12/2018 18:14

Thanks all
north yep straight through and hit the bone with a clunk 🤕
Apparently eye injuries (from bits of flying needle) are common so glad I got off with a sore finger only .
They told me this super cheerfully Grin
Sea
Im a bit > up to here < with the providing meals and clearing up and I dont have little ones. There is so much stuff enormo shoes even with big ones.
DD has cleaned her room and DH has sensed my mood 😂and whizzed round tidying and has hoovered and mopped .

Im doing "All the Trimmings" traybake from Good Food tonight ,parsnips, pots, sprouts (!) Red onion and sausages ,mixed in 2 trays with garlic olive oil, chutney and rosemary .
Super easy .
I have managed to do some knitting as Im doing a colour work hat in Alpaca,3 colours and a snowflake pattern .I have managed by looping yarn around my sore finger .

Jam whit woo!
You look gorgeous !

northender · 30/12/2018 18:27

Jam love the dress, the colours are gorgeous. Have a good evening.
Hope you get on ok with your dad tomorrow Girlie
Arrived safely in Devon.

Ggreengrass1 · 30/12/2018 18:35

Sorry girlie dd not dad.

Wolfcub · 30/12/2018 18:38

Quite that traybake sounds nice. Dinner here will either be a triumph or a disaster but it’s vertai used up some odds and ends.

I had a few tablespoons of white chicken chilli in the freezer. Ds asked for wraps the other day and has eaten one so.

Enchiladas stuffed with white chilli, rice, chopped up leftover heirloom toms, coriander, was spring onion and some crumbled cheese that were not keen on. Covered with a few spoons of leftover creme fraiche and a dog end of cheddar. Currently bubbling in the oven

Quite that makes my eyes water just thinking about it

I have opened a lovely bottle of red

Justanothermile · 30/12/2018 18:43

I'm thinking the same re the traybake, I can easily do two and veganise one. The Good Food website/app is incredibly useful I find.

Cheers quite...the heels are off and staying off now!

Good luck tomorrow girlie. I read a bit about 'centring' for anxiety which I thought was useful. Hope she's okay.

Wolfcub · 30/12/2018 18:44

Good grief predictive text is a bugger. I promise that post had good spelling and grammar when I typed it, I should have gone back and checked what predictive text had changed

SneakyGremlins · 30/12/2018 18:44

Oh that dress is GORGEOUS!

Justanothermile · 30/12/2018 18:46

Same Wolf - how it changed centering to centring - well, I am not sure!

Cheers sneaky.

SnugglySnerd · 30/12/2018 19:11

Lovely dress Jam. You are lovely and slim, I can tell you exercise hard.

Wildernesstips · 30/12/2018 19:15

Lost a long post. God Quite that sounds nasty.

NSD today. Tempted to buy a sewing pattern but have not. Spent a good portion of the day decluttering my handbags and bedroom, mainly as a result of all the crap that we are having to sort at MIL's (having to sell to fund care in a home). Don't want my boys to have to sift through all my rubbish.

Just gorgeous dress!

Wolfcub · 30/12/2018 19:16

Dinner was definitely a triumph the same thing will now happen to any leftover white chilli in the future

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/12/2018 19:16

Gorgeous jam.

AutumnLeaves12 · 30/12/2018 19:17

That's lovely jam. Smile I hope you have a great night.

I want to post dress pics too now. LOL!

LonelyOversharer · 30/12/2018 19:27

jam you have such a neat runners body! And a very pretty dress.

quite there is nothing more annoying than knitting with a poorly finger! I'd completely take the whole spool of thread out of the machine, sit it on the table, swear at it a bit, and then go again. Something is too tight if the thread is snapping.

I did another tip run, and spent under a tenner in the co-op. Yesterdays lasagne/leftover sausage and christmas bacon (which I forgot to cook but no-one missed) rolls for tea. Why is lasagne so much better the next day?

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 30/12/2018 19:41

Ouch quite my mum had a knitting needle in the foot injury once, I bet they've seen it all at a&e!!

Swit swoo jam you look gorgeous!

We had a quick tea of pesto tuna pasta which went down well.

Thanks for all the encouragement re dd, have promised her a nice treat if she let's them do it!

Did anyone watch Click and Collect over Christmas with Stephen merchant? It made me laugh a lot!

Wolfcub · 30/12/2018 20:08

Girlie yes I thought it was great. Hope dd is ok tomorrow. I had an ecg and bloods earlier this year and it’s daunting as an adult. Would she perhaps be interested by the whole playing the ecg down the phone to get the results if that happens in your surgery?
I was terrified of needles until I became a blood donor. Before that I was known for looking decidedly unwell at haematology appointments

ememem84 · 30/12/2018 20:13

Wowee jam that dress is gorgeous!

Today’s outfit I cluded my fave trashy ripped jeans. Uggs. And dh’s old hoody. Sunday slouching.

I’ve felt awful today. Like I’ve had all the sickness in one go. The nausea just would not go away. 😪 #selfpity but at least I know I’m still preggo. I remember this happening at this point last time. Dh was away in nz and I didn’t leave the house. I felt too rough. Pretty sure I stayed in bed all day and cried. Today I’ve been running about after ds. How things change.

I’ve just looked for my sequin skirt. Can’t find it 😭😪😭😪 so May not wear it tomorrow!

Festive frugaleering - Merry Christmas, and a happy 2019 to you all.
Cagliostro · 30/12/2018 21:00

Frugally using up the rest of the food. I definitely won’t be able to stockpile in the next week as need to buy a current supply first! Freezer is now empty other than a few peas and a two portion pot of chilli.

I made soup again in the soup maker, a little less chilli this time, and added some chopped tomato as part of the liquid as I used the rest in a mince thing I made to use up the beef which DH can have when he’s home from work.

Must change my Tesco delivery saver. We changed it to midweek only as it’s half the price but it’s getting annoying being limited.

ememem84 · 30/12/2018 21:23

We have eaten the trifle. Phew.

We still have oodles of chocolate left but no actual Christmas “food” all the nice cheese has gone, all the pork has been used up or frozen.

Must buy veggies this week.

We do have an astonishing amount of booze left. That’ll be my share then!! 🤣😉

I was planning on going sober in January anyway. Just one day at a time. Just to see if I could do it.

QuiteisbringingFrugalback · 30/12/2018 21:31

Lonely
I may have sworn a few times already !
I have one of those little finger bandage things on and I keep catching it and knitting my finger to my knitting 😂

Tray bake was a huge success, very sticky and caramelised .
There are leftovers .

SneakyGremlins · 30/12/2018 22:13

Since I have a PPC and it wouldn't cost more - is it worth asking the doctor for a six month course of immunosuppressants when I see him next week instead of three months? Because Brexit?

ChristmasSeacow · 30/12/2018 23:40

No idea Sneaky but it won’t hurt to ask.

Beautiful dress Jam and you wore it well!

Good luck with DD tomorrow Girlie.

Quite it is all a bit of a slog at the mo - not much leisure time for either of us. I guess it’s par for the course with two little ones, especially with DS not being very independent. It will improve I hope! though there’s no realistic hope of DH learning to cook competently And I have to say I am finding them well worth the effort right now! DS is making progress and is interacting with us quite well at the moment, including with DD ❤️. And DD is just hilarious and talking so much (sentences, pronouns, prepositions, colours, counting!). So it’s a lot of fun.

I am having to wait up till my nail polish dries. My nails are really rubbish at the mo so I’ve had to cut them really short. Am hoping that a bit of pale glittery stuff will hide a multitude of sins Wink

ememem84 · 31/12/2018 06:56

sea glitter hides everything.

Am awake. No one else is. Must get up. Don’t want to.

Rubbish sleep. Dh came to bed later than me and woke me up (he walked into the bed). Then I had to get up at 2 for a wee. Then just couldn’t stay asleep. 😪

Aiming for nsd today.
