Let's see fluff

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/12/2018 09:49

www.johnlewis.com/karen-millen-embellished-neck-long-sleeve-top-black/p3837249

Bit basic but it’ll be worn with a mini skirt so it needs to balance the outfit.

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/12/2018 09:52

Like it

ememem84 · 30/12/2018 09:56

Good choice fluff like it! I shall be wearing my “girl band” gold sequinned mini skirt on nye. To work. All. Day. Long. With a slouchy black jumper black boots. And tights. I may never fit in it again. So fuck it. I’m wearing it.

LonelyOversharer · 30/12/2018 10:09

That is nice fluff ...there are no clothes I need. I bought myself pj's in tescos for £5, so that will do. All my older clothes I wear to work. They are steadily getting ruined with black ink and resin based paint, which only meths removes, so clothes are buggered. Anyway, I have a lot of old clothes.

sea nope, 18 seperate balls! Mostly caron simply soft (yankee yarn, I love it!), it's aran. I was going to knit a coat with a full skirt...can you even imagine Grin I would never have worn it! Another sad wip doomed. My blanket is now longer than it is wide!

I have not got up yet. The poor dogs! I want to do the hall today, have been dodging it, and already kinda know I cba doing it.

LonelyOversharer · 30/12/2018 10:11

Go fot it em I bet you'll look great. Piccy tomorrow morning?

Lovemaltesers · 30/12/2018 10:19

Ooooh I like it fluffy

Currently in a freezing warehouse soft play. DD2s birthday today. How did she turn 4 already?!

ememem84 · 30/12/2018 10:28

I’m still in bed. I got up had breakfast and played with ds. He’s now having a nap. Dh is in the bathroom but he’s been there for at least 30 minutes. I want a shower. But dh is in the bathroom.

Wolfcub · 30/12/2018 10:32

That’s lovely Fluffy
Em definitely wear the skirt, life is too short not to (my phone keeps trying to capitalise life, I obviously spend way too much time on here Grin)
We are going to walk to Tesco to get some milk and bagels. To say ds is not keen is an understatement but I need to get out!
Tomorrow we have a busy day which he doesn’t know about yet so today we will play board games and maybe watch a film (again)

Went through my savings pots this morning and recalculated and reset savings goals in line with the reworked budget I did the other day. Payday at midnight hopefully

Wolfcub · 30/12/2018 10:32

Happy birthday Love’s dd Cake

ChristmasSeacow · 30/12/2018 10:44

Happy birthday LittleLove!

I think a Blanket is defo more useful than a crochet coat Lonely. I really must finish the crochet blanket I started about 4 years ago but I’ve gone off the colours

Thanks Sneaky but my mum is the lovely one! A very kind and gentle lady. We lost my dad and Granny in May (my mum’s mum) so this was always going to be a really hard Christmas for her. Thank goodness for the children, who were a brilliant focus and distraction for all of us.

Up at 6.30am today after 5 hours sleep so I’ve felt better but am at least not hungover. I had 3 beers over about 6 hours last night so I felt okay today, apart from tired. A toasted egg and bacon sandwich and 2 cups of tea later and I’m a new woman! DH has finally surfaced so I’m heading for a shower now. I have read at least 40 stories to DD (no exaggeration, her appetite for stories is unquenchable). I need 10 mins alone to recover!

Quiet day tidying and doing housework. I also have to make some cakes /puddings to take for a crowd for NYE.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 30/12/2018 10:51

Morning I'm still in bed, my first proper lie in and decent nights sleep in weeks!!

I need to go to town but have a list so will try not to get too distracted by the sales, dd is fine for clothes and I only want another over sized jumper from new look! I have one and have worn it to death this winter.

Need to do aldi shop as well.

SnugglySnerd · 30/12/2018 11:18

Really like that top Fluffy.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 30/12/2018 11:29

Love that top fluffy

Happy birthday little Love

Christmas stuff is making me a bit twitchy now, want to take the tree down!! Will wait till the 2nd I think....

Just checked my gas and electric account, i'm not doing too bad so far this winter, average use is about £60 a month Nov/Dec which is roughly twice what it is in the summer so balances itself out! I am with Affect energy and have to say they have been very good so far.

Need to work out a budget for Jan but think its going to be hard what with dds birthday and a spa trip booked! Not sure if I've mentioned that actually but have booked an over night stay at a local spa with my two best friends, i have a voucher to use for treatments and birthday money will cover the cost of the stay (in theory.)

Is it Jan/Feb that are council tax free if you pay over 10 months?

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/12/2018 11:37

Toys gone through mostly. Big box for charity, going to drop some at children's ward or A&E as we have a reservation there....
School shoes this afternoon but have a voucher and the sale is on. DS will also need trainers.
Was going to be IKEA but mil is unwell so may be a crisis team job. Dh is going over later.
Do it em. Wear the skirt.
Hee hee wolf.

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/12/2018 11:37

Happy birthday little love.

AutumnLeaves12 · 30/12/2018 12:09

Thanks Em. Mainly I need a new jumper, preferably blue, polo neck, thick-ish wool to be warm. Long. Fitted.

I had a nice stripy ladies M&S one when I was 25 but it bit the dust when I was 35. Then I had a nice one from the Edinburgh woollen mill, that has been replaced many times, but is now discontinued. I bought a men's one from ewm and it was nice but is gradually stretching towards my knees.

It needs to be acrylic to survive the tumble dryer. #bombproof

I quite like this actually:

www.marksandspencer.com/pure-cotton-striped-zip-through-jumper/p/p60203975?image=SD_03_T30_4578B_F4_X_EC_90&color=NAVYMIX&prevPage=plp

Not a jumper, but in the style I like.

Thanks for asking. Fashion is a mystery to me.

Ah polo necks I can’t help with. I can’t wear them due to boobs being too large. Looks like I have a shelf.

AutumnLeaves12 · 30/12/2018 12:36

ROFL!

Splendid. Nice to know that I have good boobs for a polo neck. My SIL told me I have good teeth for a clarinet at Christmas which was very surprising. I had no idea that I had good teeth for anything.

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/12/2018 12:36

It’s feb/March Girlie.

Happy Birthday Love Dd. She was really young when you joined ie a toddler.

£8 matched betting today.

Wolfcub · 30/12/2018 12:45

Used my meerkat code to book Wreck it Ralph for Tuesday. Does anyone know if you can combine the blue light pre paid cinema vouchers with meerkat codes?

LonelyOversharer · 30/12/2018 12:53

Oh god polo necks Confused age 14-20 me had no idea how hideous they were (30E)! I wore them a lot in the 90's. Now they are banned from the house. I similarly can't abide deep v necks. Even though my boobs have been beaten into submission by 6 yrs of feeding babies (in total!).

I have started on the hall. Holy crap we have so much crap. Enough is enough. But having a break to build my kallax now, just a 4x1. Then a trip to the tip. One car load at a time.

You're doing well with the matched betting fluff, whats your profit so far? I would have come out about £550 up if I hadn't of liked the slots quite so much (final tally was circa £400). But I can't trust myself to dip back in!

LonelyOversharer · 30/12/2018 12:54

autumn good teeth for a clarinet somehow doesn't sound like a compliment! Is your sil a bit PA?

AutumnLeaves12 · 30/12/2018 13:01

LOL! Lonely, thanks, you're very kind to look out for me.

No, she's really fine. Grin The music that has come down to ds in the genes is from her side of the family, not mine. She went to a posh music school and aspired to be a woodwind player but couldn't, so when she says I have the good teeth it's a genuine and heartfelt compliment.

I have crap teeth actually, and have to live on a completely sugar-free diet to stop having them just fall to pieces. But they all came in completely straight, so I look as though I've had expensive orthodontist stuff done, when in fact I just got lucky.

I thought it was nice to know that they were good for something finally, after the thousand fillings that I've had to plod through since about age 7.

One day I will just ask the dentist for a sticker. It's one of my big unfulfilled ambitions.

£150 Lonely but I ideally want £30 a day on average. No casino wins though, I do the free sign up offers but don’t win.

Think I need to bin the turkey, had a sandwich earlier and feel a bit off now.
