Yes autumn & you're trying to balance equalish spends too Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/12/2018 14:13

Yip. Mine count the number.

That makes them sound grabby. They are not. It's all about fairness.

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/12/2018 14:14

Tbf I've put the lotto on today so hoping for a wind fall here.

Should really do some work as swimming to keep up, or bake, or put the shopping away. But drinking tea instead while on mn

AutumnLeaves12 · 15/12/2018 14:47

That fairness lark sounds very tricky. I remember myself doing that as a child though. Never really realised how fiddly it was for the parents.

It's raining and windy here now. Tbh I was wondering when winter would arrive. If it's still 10 degrees at Christmas then July could be very hot indeed.

Wolfcub · 15/12/2018 14:51

Sea that’s a fantastic achievement, well done. I love a gadget I really enjoy setting stuff up geek

£8 Sainsbury’s as we needed milk and I didn’t want to go out later. Used £5 of nectar points.

£13 fish shop for a fish and chip lunch. Yum. We are only having baked potato for tea although at the moment I’m too full to think i might be hungry later

Life I have been known to occasionally play the lottery I. The hope of a new kitchen and a nice holiday encourages me

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/12/2018 15:33

Well done on the weight loss

Happierwithouthim · 15/12/2018 15:48

Needs addressing doesn't it? They both have one big gift each outside of this

2 Stone is really a lot Christmas. Nice work! Smile

AutumnLeaves12 · 15/12/2018 15:51

Oooo! It's that special time of year when I can't put the tumble dryer hose out of the window without the house turning to a fridge. I had forgotten that.

Wolfcub · 15/12/2018 15:55

Happier yes I think you need one or two bits for ds

LonelyOversharer · 15/12/2018 15:55

Lottery ticket for tonight here too. Just a lucky dip, I'm sure they never win. £23 in the co-op, food for several freezer teas, snacks etc. Was £33 but used a tenner off a scratchcard.

Home right as the what can only be described as ice chips started falling. Had a nice sit down at my parents. Dad gave me some logs. Apparently he has a stash.

Still have 8 pigs, 2 mice, a black cat and a labradoodle to knit.

seacow very very well done. That last half a stone has dropped off v quickly. Remember though, food over 24-27th December does not count Grin

ememem84 · 15/12/2018 15:57

Spendy day.

£32 on ds’ new big boy shoes. First proper shoes.

£25 lunch for the three of us.

£229 on a magimix our housewarming gift to ourselves. (Managed to get 5% off too as it was the display model).

£70 boots on nappies food pouches for ds and eye cream and a night moisturiser for me (dh can wrap as my present from ds)

£54 in local wine shop. Bought a lovely bottle of nz Pinot noir for dh for Christmas. And picked up some seedlip “gin” for me. We’re having friends round Christmas Eve and I don’t want to tell them yet. So it’s usual to see me with a g&t... the man I. The shop was super kind and asked whether it was a “special time in my life” and when i said yes he gave me 15% off the seedlip. Yay.

Do you have a Tescos happier ? Little blind bag type things are all reduced at the moment. Failing that a couple of simple lego sets (car with man, little digger etc) are always a winner. Boxes bigger than contents.

I really have indulged my dc this year (and no huge cc bill), dd3 and I decided "spoilt" was not a nice word, so we are going for "indulged". She might explode before the 25th.

LonelyOversharer · 15/12/2018 16:02

em they are utterly adorable! Remember to keep the box, so you can stash this one pair forever ♥️

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/12/2018 16:13

Ah cute shoes.

Yes it needs addressing happier.
Ah lovely wine shop man

Quitestoletheglitterball · 15/12/2018 16:16

Afternoon!
I might explode Im so excited about Strictly! Glitterball
Have braved the apalling weather -ice chips summed it up here .
So icy and windy
Picked up my Christmas meat and its in the freezer.
We all wanted a nice dinner for tonight so have steak (spendy) and cheesecake .
Now sitting by the fire with hot chocolate and a hazelnut Aragostine -mmmm .

Still have 8 pigs, 2 mice, a black cat and a labradoodle to knit
Lonely I laughed out loud at this (in a good way!) Grin
Where do you get your patterns from?
I want to knit some little animals for my hall tree .
See you all later for Strictly !!

Happierwithouthim · 15/12/2018 16:35

There's already a Lego set & Lego crate in that so I'll put my thinking cap on.

Seedlip great idea em
I put a few bottles of non alcohol koppaberg in fridge at my party in case I was getting tipsy I could switch to it

Happierwithouthim · 15/12/2018 16:37

H is being weird - after refusing to have dc tonight & me paying au pair he's now having them as he didn't realise it was my Christmas party, I was clear that au pair would have to mind as I had Christmas party Angry then offered a lift then told me to enjoy back off as*hole

Happierwithouthim · 15/12/2018 16:37

Shoes are fab em

Lovemaltesers · 15/12/2018 17:09

Are you keeping au pair on standby incase DH suddenly has an emergency to spoil your evening happier?

QforCucumber · 15/12/2018 17:18

Eurgh spendy spendy day today paying for all xmas meat and drink and final payment for our wedding reception. 9 weeks to go.

AutumnLeaves12 · 15/12/2018 17:45

Oooo! Q we haven't had a wedding on here I don't think. Exciting.

It's bucketing rain outside and freezing cold now. I just stuck my head out in it and it was very very chilly.

We have put the Christmas tree up. Sparkly.

LonelyOversharer · 15/12/2018 18:05

quite most of the things I sell are my own patterns. I got most of my tiny ideas adapting from a book called "mini moochie" they are knit in the round type things. I always rate Alan Dart patterns, knitting in 4ply and 2.25mm needles (you knit socks so I know you have these!) brings toys out half size.

Another two orders, add another pig and two tabby cats to that list. Am onto pigs now. I can just about make 2 an hour. Just waiting on Stictly. Can't call the winner, except to say it won't be Ashley, as I don't think anyone votes for her. I think I like Faye best, in training without much makeup she just seems so natural and nice.

6pm, pigs here we come, I'll be back soon.

LonelyOversharer · 15/12/2018 18:06

Didn't wreck get married on the thread? Just before I joined it? I miss her, and photos of her lovely lion.

Quitestoletheglitterball · 15/12/2018 18:12

Lonely
Just realised I have a knitted mini cats 😂book somewhere so I can adapt that .
2 pigs an hour is good going !
Eeek its nearly time !
