That looks acevLonely - I cant believe how much you’re getting done!

I hope we haven’t scared DS Autumn, Just that bites can turn nasty. Probably nothing to worry about but always best to be cautious if they get infected.

DH didn’t take DS out till an hour ago. I was on the verge of killing someone. DH should know better than to slurp soup near me, even when I’m not trying to work and on Just 3 hours sleep 🔨🔪🔨🔪

ChristmasSeacow · 26/10/2018 14:17

Ds isn't well. Was up most the night hallucinating with a fever. Might have to call the dr as it's been an hour and his temp is still over 39.

Despite no sleep have managed to clean/tidy/hoover downstairs. Have had a headache all day.

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/10/2018 14:54

If you get lime scale you’ll need dishwasher salt em.

2 x £10 in sains, won £12.50 in nectar.

£2.20 beef mince and tomatoes in Morrison’s. it’s home made lasagne night.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 26/10/2018 15:08

Been to a friends for a coffee and popped into town. Took dress back so £36 back in the account, £9 in pound land on various bits including a few stocking fillers for Dd.

£30 in morrisons on dairy free and veggie bits mostly.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 26/10/2018 15:09

Hope your ds is okay wreck yy to talking to the dr.

Thatsnotmybookworm · 26/10/2018 15:53

Hope your DS feels better soon @WreckTangled. I'm not one to panic and rush to doctor but I think the hallucinating would worry me too.

Updated spends today:
£3 lunch, it's been the kind of week where I feel I've done well to get to the end of the week in one piece; bringing lunch with me today was just a step too far!
£29 Amazon, on a Contigo coffee mug, unfrugal as I'm buying it because I can't find my old one but frugal as it will save money on buying coffees out and about. Also books for DC for Christmas.
£9 joint for Sunday.

WereWolfcub · 26/10/2018 16:01

That’snot this may or may not be the time to tell you contigo mugs are on
Offer for £10 in Tesco. But I suppose if you can find one and it’s one you like you can return the other to amazon

Wreck I’m afraid that would have me at the dr too and I’m a not dead/not bleeding to death then get on with it parent. Hope ds feels better soon

Got to be assessed by peads as no source of infection. She thinks he's ok (as do I) but she's not happy to leave it.

kitkat6 · 26/10/2018 16:15

Expensive day today!!!

£15 networking (biz expense) so doesn't really count
£20 cleaner
£26.93 The Range (xmas)
£40.61 - Lidl (unplanned my mother enabled the spending)
£74.85 - tesco (xmas)
£68.49 - Ocado

Within the Lidl show I did buy the pudding for xmas day as it is a built it yourself giant profiterole tower which was about £10 the rest was mainly Lebleuchen Hearts plus knock off coffee pods. Had a decent haul at Tesco with a £10 off voucher all the xmas toys I bought were half price so one childs xmas is completely finished and the other is started - he wants an xbox game and a couple of books then he is done.

AutumnLeaves12 · 26/10/2018 16:37

Thanks Christmas. It was dh who had the injuries, not ds, so no risk of scaring anyone. Dh had a nice visit to the surgery.

The nurse looked and pondered, and called another nurse who also pondered, then they scoured the building to find dGP who also considered it.

Then they put an iodine plaster on it, and it's to stay on for days apparently.

Dh looked very cheerful on his return, which is a thing that hasn't happened for... oh... about 8 months; since he started his new job actually.

Maybe an infected midge bite here and there is just what's wanted. Hope it actually heals now. That would also be good.

AutumnLeaves12 · 26/10/2018 16:41

Wreck sorry to hear about your ds. When that happens to me, I run my hands under a cold tap and hold them to the side of my neck to cool my head down on the inside, and that stops it immediately. I hope the paeds help you figure out what the problem is. Flowers

Thatsnotmybookworm · 26/10/2018 17:21

Ooh thanks for the tip @WereWolfcub; I'll get on that!

ememem84 · 26/10/2018 17:25

I may get one. My morning commute may be ridiculous come Monday after we move.

In theory it should be a 20 minute drive. But in the mornings it could be double that. Must make sure dh gets himself ready and leaves house at 745.

Am waiting to pick him up.

He sent me two messages today after our meeting with the bank. One which suggested if I had time could I do xyz (time?! What’s that?!) and the other an article about how people who are depressed use different laungage cues to those “normals” sounds interesting but I’ll never get chance to read it.

Waiting for him outside his work now. There’s a couple on the pavement who should really get a room.

AutumnLeaves12 · 26/10/2018 18:11

Em I think I've read that article. It just said that people who have a tendency towards depression also tend to say "This [bad thing] always happens" or "This [good thing] never happens". Whereas non-depressed people are more likely to say "This bad thing has happened" with the implication that it may be a one-off.

I think the implication was that if depressive-type people changed their use of language to suggest that bad experiences may be a one-off then they might lift their mood more generally over time.

I thought it was a good idea but I never remember to do it. LOL! (That's a joke btw)

WreckTangled · 26/10/2018 18:20

Sent home with open access. They're not concerned

WereWolfcub · 26/10/2018 18:44
