Morrisons are fabby for garden stuff. Dh & his ex bought their steamer chairs from there years ago & they are still going strong. His ex buggered off with the cushions so I hid the chairs at mils house #winning.

Tea Well done. I pick up nails & screws in my tyres every year. It never happens to Dh. I get windscreen chips too. My nn is captain slow. The irony.

Pets are so weird, our cats scared of hoods and the robo Hoover. He's not bothered by my led face mask though & I look properly odd wearing it.

Sea Keep going, you definitely can't be working & looking after a newborn & your ds Shock

You don't get a lot for the cost, those neons & glitters are £8+ each! A tiny bag of Swarovski crystals is £10+. If you buy everything fake off eBay it's cheaper but it wears off the free edge of the nail and clients will complain. The crystals contain platinum though & some of the chrome powders contain silver. It's disappointing when you spend that much and imagine a huge box of goodies & a tiny box gets delivered.

Yesterday was NSD, I won £5.20 matched betting & about £2 on some free spins they sent me. I've made about £60 in two weeks.

needastrongone · 11/06/2017 13:09

Result indeed Fluffy.

Ah 12, a tricky age for girls I found, actually more tricky than actual teen years.

You are working really hard Seacow, no resting up for you at the end of pregnancy. Save some energy for the newborn weeks!!

I've done a lovely long run of 11 miles this morning and the chores.

Just popping to the feed shop now.

Here is another photo of DD and Dpony, we've just been sent it. She's featured in the programme for an international horse trial event that we went to as the team last year. You have to qualify to be able to ride. In the picture, Dpony actually looks like he would normally look and DD is vaulting on at speed. CoolSmile

Good profit for the betting Fluffy, my nail lady says the same about the cost of the supplies and nail stuff.

Em, meant to say, I'm funding any beauty stuff for clothes sales, so cost neutral. Just got some Glow Tonic which is lovely, and a limited edition UD palette, used the profit.

needastrongone · 11/06/2017 13:13

Great profit re the IPad Tea, not such good news re the carConfused

Coppersulphate · 11/06/2017 13:31

I am fed up losing posts. It just goes off.
Any way, welcome newbies, sorry forgot

Coppersulphate · 11/06/2017 13:39

5th attempt. Bloody MN is really annoying me now.
Home at last. Knackered

Coppersulphate · 11/06/2017 13:42

Girlie, glad you and DD enjoyed Gerase.
Need pic of DD looks great.
Post before it disappears

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 11/06/2017 14:38

Fab pic Need

Agree Fluffy Morrisons are brilliant for garden stuff, I picked up another clematis for £1.76! Also got my slate and some stones plus a large bag of compost which was £2! Total spend £18 which also included some other bits, have been told that dd shouldn't have deodorant with aluminium in it but had a look and they all have it in Confused maybe need to look in Boots or somewhere.

Also got petrol which was £40.

CremeEggThief · 11/06/2017 14:58

£2.22 on bread and chocolate.

ememem84 · 11/06/2017 15:11

Popped in to see dparents. Who have brought a present from dgrandma. An alenormous teddy bear for baby boy. Catface isn't sure what to make of it

Dm also stopped by an honest box this morning and has picked us up a bag of super muddy straight from the field jersey royals. Mmmm.

Struggling to keep up again.
fluffy you seem to be doing well with the matched betting. Ds & I are going to give it a try with any profit going to our holiday fund for next year.
Em the Jersey Royals.... le yum!
need that's a fab pic of dd & dpony.
We've had a good weekend & quite productive. I'm doing a Father's Day meal for dh and my dad tonight as dh is going to a concert in Manchester on the actual day next week. I'm doing slow roast pork shoulder & dd has made a lemon cheesecake for pud.
Spent £50 in Booths half of which was for the meal (drinks & ice cream mainly) and the other half groceries for the week ahead. I owe ds £35 for cricket match subs & gym fees. He's doing pay as you go at the gym as I haven't got a direct debit sorted, so that's on my to do list for tonight.
Also on the to do list is booking a cottage in St Ives for October half term. Our holiday in Lancashire is a week later than most places so is classed as low season. We've found a 4 bedroom place a stones throw from the beach (with sea views) for under £400 for the week.
Have got a couple of things ending on eBay tonight so fingers crossed. I also need to list another few bits, then that'll be it for a while.

ememem84 · 11/06/2017 15:32

I'm biased notth but they're the best. They don't taste the same from shops. And don't taste the same if bought in the uk. There's something about them arriving still muddy.

I think royals are grown in the uk too. Someone told me they ship the seed potatoes over. But they're not the same at all. Traditional farmers here use seaweed as fertilised (vraic/wrack to be precise) and it gives the potatoes the distinct flavour.

We were going to have chicken cous cous and salad for dinner. But may now have it with buttery potatoes. Mmmmmmmmmm

£15, vodka, Coke & bread.

Good idea North, there's no buzz from winning so it's not addictive.

ChristmasSeacow · 11/06/2017 16:40

I thought you weren't allowed to call them jersey royals if they weren't from jersey? It's not just the spud, it's the terroir (or something)? They are yummy though I've never been lucky enough to try a muddy one.

Had a morning of baking for our local ASD support group, went along and chatted to a few people and then came back and collapsed for a bit. I have just had a very late and delicious lunch of avocado on toast and am about to tackle the washing up and then work again for a bit.

North that cottage sounds lovely, I love a coastal holiday in the uk. I am a bit sad we are not going anywhere at all this year but timings and baby don't work out so we will make up for it next year!

Coppersulphate · 11/06/2017 17:09

.Ooh North, I love St Ives. Parking is the only problem but the light and the sea...gorgeous.
Em, I am jealous. I am supposed to be in Jersey but cancelled because of DGS's operation, colleague gone instead of me. I am going to email him and ask him to bring me a bag of muddy Jetsey Royals. Le yum

mammymammyIRL · 11/06/2017 17:25

Lost a big post earlier. Had a lovely day at home with dc my friend & her 3 dc made quiche & joe Wicks sticky toffee pudding everyone happy & very low cost Smile

ememem84 · 11/06/2017 17:36

copper pretty sure you can pick them up before securith at the airport....tell friend to the grab something from food place at airport and grab lots of jersey salted butter. Mmmm.

seacow good point. Someone here (a farmer) says your not allowed to call them "royals" unless they're grown overlooking the royal bay of grouville (he's he one in the Lidl advert...)

Either way. Tasty as.

Fluffycloudland77 · 11/06/2017 18:14

I took the oven racks out & store mine in the built in oven. £22.49.

Coppersulphate · 11/06/2017 18:38

Thanks Em, I will email him to do that, and the butter.
Good luck to caglet DD for tomorrow.
Fluffy, have I missed something about an oven??

Fluffycloudland77 · 11/06/2017 18:58

Halogen ovens are brilliant for cooking stuff you'd normally oven cook/grill. Very cheap to run & the bowl goes in the dishwasher.

needastrongone · 11/06/2017 19:05

St Ive's sounds good North.

Jersey royals with salted butter, melted. Nom nom nom.

£60 Sainsbury's
£31 feed shop.

Using sainbos a bit more as I like the quality but no delivery for Ocado this week.

Bought turkey breasts as cheaper than chicken. Bought own brand biscuits but branded washing stuff.

needastrongone · 11/06/2017 19:06

Sil has a halogen which she uses regularly.

Lamb tagine in SC, bulked up with beans, roasted courgettes and garlic, rice.

I've done load today, which helps tomorrow when I work.

CremeEggThief · 11/06/2017 19:08

Good luck with the assessment, Cag.

Indian takeaway en-route. Nom, nom, no matter!

MeadowHay · 11/06/2017 19:42

I have had another day that I smashed today, two in a row Shock. I went into town to meet a friend and her mam and brother for an event at the market, it was good and I ate so much I am still not really hungry Blush. I was super chatty despite not knowing her mam and brother Confused I guess I felt comfy cos my friend is so nice I just assumed they would be too (and they were - her brother was much shyer than me Blush !!). Then I was so buzzed after that I even popped into H&M and bought myself a vest and a t-shirt in the sale. Couldn't face Bodycare or any shoe shops cos of anxiety though. Popped into Urban Outfitters as they had a sale too and OMG the prices are ridiculous!! I don't remember them being that awful when I was a teenager. £18 was a very thin, floaty vest top and that was with 50% off Shock. What a rip-off!

So spends (ugh lol):
£3.80 on a cookie for me, and a rocky road that I brought home for DH at his request as he was gutted to be working so missed the event.
£1 on a badge.
£2.30 on a special bar of chocolate for us.
£4 on a wrap for lunch.
£1 on a carton of juice to drink.
Then like £8.50 in h&m on vest and t-shirt in the sale.
Then came home and spent like £58 at Iceland on groceries which will arrive Tuesday morning.
Spendy!!

Got US scan to look for gallstones tomorrow and DH is at work and it's not at his hospital, I'm super anxious and worried I'm not going to manage to go :/
