Just £29, navy nubuk funny dream. Should be £60. My all time favourite clarks shoe. My last pair were bright purple, I wore them until they disintegrated.

Cagliostro · 25/06/2017 14:03

Hope all ok love

HollyTheHarrier · 25/06/2017 14:06

bacon hope your dad is ok

WreckTangled · 25/06/2017 14:18

Frugaleers tell me my dc don't need a zip line in the garden. Smyths have one for £40 and it looks so fun Grin

ememem84 · 25/06/2017 14:21

wreck absolutely definetly don't do it.

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/06/2017 14:25

Sounds like a trip to a+e!

NSD and I made £8.70 match betting.

CremeEggThief · 25/06/2017 14:40

NSD so far. First for absolutely ages.

Save it for the park, Wreck. The novelty will soon wear off in the garden.

Sunny, we definitely need to get back to pacing ASAP. I can feel a relapse coming on, but hope it holds off until I've unpacked at the new house! I'm having a few hours break between packing up various rooms, to have some lunch and watch tennis.

Hope your dad will be ok, Bacon. Flowers

Happy birthday to your DD, Need.Cake

WreckTangled · 25/06/2017 14:42

Thanks everyone you're right! I'm just sitting in the sun in the garden with WreckCat

He looks like a sun worshipper, Wreck. Gorgeous!

Loveabaconsandwich · 25/06/2017 15:01

I can't really decide whether to be worried about DDad or not. His tests came back fine but they've kept him in so he can have an almost fast track cardiologist appointment tomorrow. He was due to have an appointment in september due to chest pains. He used to get angina but then they put stents in his heart but got bad again recently. I worry whether he needs more/ new stents whether they operate as he is in his 80s. I figure he is in the best place though and the staff were ever so patient with deaf DDad and DMum who like to talk.

Dropped DMum home for her to get some food and stuff for DDad. Will be taxi driver for her and go back to visit him later.

Currently enjoying some peace and quiet after a morning of shouting at deaf DDad Grin . DP and DC are celebrating an event with family. Time for Brew

Cagliostro · 25/06/2017 15:06

A zip line?! That's cool. But yes I imagine it'd get old quite quickly really. I'd like to get a slack line (kind of like a wider tightrope but elasticated and bouncy) if when we move there are two thick enough trees!

£65 lunch for 5, just drinks and mains! A few quid in the arcade and then a multipack of ice creams from the supermarket. WHS didn't have either of the magazines.

Cagliostro · 25/06/2017 15:07

That sounds stressful love but I agree he's in the best place and the sooner they get things sorted the better. Hope you can have a chilled afternoon 💐

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/06/2017 16:06

Spendy day
£8.50 swimming. £44 water stones, £18 peacocks, £5 passport photo, £1.72 bubblegum, £15 lunch, £1 parking, £15 shirt and tie for ds,

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/06/2017 16:08

Hope it's nothing serious love. Stressful times when someone is in hospital

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/06/2017 16:12

bacon They kept my fil in for weeks last year because if he'd gone home he would've gone down the waiting list.

I suppose they take the view that he's there anyway he might as well see cardiology.

SunnyLikeThursday · 25/06/2017 16:23

Creme I think you're right. I'm doing far too much just now and the house is definitely slipping. It's all medical appointments for us though and if I could only get this dental things sorted for ds then my workload would be halved. I think I'm going to ring the dental hospital on Monday and ask if there are things that could be done differently to get him to the right person sometime this year.

I managed to have today off entirely so far. ds is knackered from chasing people with waterbombs yesterday so we all just flopping about the place. It was great to be able to let them all run in the street yesterday. It's transformed their behaviour today. I wish the cars could be gone all the time.

WreckTangled · 25/06/2017 16:32

My dc always play outside in the street. We're lucky where we live, we're basically one road in the middle of nowhere.

ememem84 · 25/06/2017 16:58

cag we have a slack line it's awesome. No outside space but we've used it at my parents before and when we've been last minute camping/beach BBQ etc. Great fun.

Weve been down the beach this afternoon. Had a sea swim from the pier met up with some friends. Dh and friends went pier jumping. Never too old for that. (I'm Too pregnant at the moment though so I gave it a miss and just swam around in the water).

em, it's not out yet anyway, the UD palette. They did an early release of a few thousand palettes on launch and then it's not out until end July.

Hope your DF is okay love. They did the same to my mum, if that helps. And it keeps them up the queue.

mammy, I think from what you have said, of those factors, then I would say the heat might have played the biggest factor. Heat and exercise is very tough indeed. I struggled a lot during my race on Wednesday. And please don't be afraid to walk the hills. This is not cheating, it can be faster and can conserve energy. A half marathon is a very long way, it's a bloody bloody long way for the first time. And do not beat yourself up. This will make you stronger. Move on and smash it xx

Just getting ready for Dd's BBQ for her and her friends. Been a busy day.

I managed 15 miles this morning though, and did really enjoy it on my own for the solitude. I always run with others, which I love, but a bit of time to have my mind wander was lovely too.

needastrongone · 25/06/2017 17:10

Immature GrinGrinGrin at em and her thong!!!

needastrongone · 25/06/2017 17:12

WreckTangled · 25/06/2017 17:56

Need I have a friend who regularly runs 30/40 miles for fun Shock

needastrongone · 25/06/2017 18:07

Wreck, I reckon that I can safely say I am the only one on the thread that totally gets where your friend is coming fromGrin
