Knitting My PT had an older lady who was walking with sticks. 3 months with him, no sticks. She went from cranky and defensive to a changed person. The sticks were a confidence thing. Any decent PT would be interested in this type of client. What added value can you give an already fit person compared to this? He can tweak me, but can't change my life. Incredibly narrow minded to think otherwise.

Brightermornings · 07/02/2017 17:04

Wow I can hardly keep up!! I'm watching apple tree yard only on second episode.
I'm feeling a little bit brighter ideally this weekend I need some alone time. Dd should be at her dads on Saturday night. I get anxious if I don't get time on my own.
Today my first amazon order of 45 loo rolls for 15.29!! I've ordered them to come every 2 months. Hopefully we shouldn't run out ever again!!

Needastrongone · 07/02/2017 17:04

Sorry Knitting, I meant incredibly narrow mind of any PT that thinks the mega fit sporty types are the only ones that are worth bothering with, I worded that badly. xx

mammymammyIRL · 07/02/2017 17:27

What's apple tree yard about brighter? Grin at loo roll. I used to know how many we went through a week at one stage Blush

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/02/2017 17:33

Thank you mammy but it has to be blueberry muffins.

Pmt carb cravings Grin

CremeEggThief · 07/02/2017 17:36

There are some threads on the telly addicts section, Mammy. It's a 4 part thriller, based on a book. People aren't always who they seem to or claim to be, is the basic premise. I saw the concluding episode last night. Very good.

Toilet roll is probably the only thing I have NEVER run out of, in 20 years of shopping for myself!Grin

Spends: £6.80 in Sainsburys café, on a latte, a pot of tea and a veggie breakfast and £15.40 on a top-up shop there, on my card.

Needastrongone · 07/02/2017 17:44

Brighter I have that offer too. There's loo roll everywhere!!

WreckTangled · 07/02/2017 18:17

I'm feeling thoroughly fed up right now. I've spent all afternoon searching the many different job sites online but haven't found anything

Nsd.

IdStillRatherBeKnitting · 07/02/2017 18:19

No worries need I got what you meant! Don't think I have the confidence to ever actually go into a gym, shall keep on riding my bike, at least I wear lycra now! Small steps.

Will put pics of my wormery up, am very excited. It was my "best bit of the day" we always tell a best bit and a worst bit at tea time. Kids not convinced about a kilo of worms, or the smelly goo that I shall feed to the plants. Cheapy tea, omelettes and home made chips.

We can get through 2 loo rolls a day, not sure what dd1 and dd3 do with so much of it!

Cagliostro · 07/02/2017 18:21

Just catching up, I had missed about wreck when are they doing the endoscopy and scan? Hope all ok xxx

WreckTangled · 07/02/2017 18:26

Not sure cag it's an internal referral so who knows? It's just because I often feel sick after eating in the evening and they don't know why

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 07/02/2017 18:40

Hi all, work day which whizzed by as didn't really stop from the minute I arrived!

Got in and threw a sausage roast together, the sausages had been in the fridge weeks a while but tasted alright..... I did nearly cremate them in the oven so assuming that would kill anything dodgy Grin

Maybe your dh should make the PT sessions 40 mins Cag an hour does seem like a very long time (but to me any more than 10mins of exercise would be a long time Wink)

Having a quick sit down before taking dd to football.

Wreck is the nausea a recent thing?

WreckTangled · 07/02/2017 18:44

I would say it's been on and off for about 12/12. Sometimes I don't get it for a little while then it'll last 2-3/52 at a time

WreckTangled · 07/02/2017 18:46

Gah sorry work mode. Might last two or three weeks at a time. I usually end up going to be at 8pm because I just feel sick and nothing stops it. I think my rheumatologist was worries about gastroparesis but my gastro consultant didn't really know what it could be and nor do I. I'm ok at the moment though Smile

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/02/2017 18:49

All the HCP on the thread understood! 😂

I'd noticed you went to bed early but I assumed it was because you were knackered.

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/02/2017 18:54

Sorry wreck I totally missed that. I did understand what you meant

ememem84 · 07/02/2017 18:55

Dh has a cold. I've banished him to the spare room.

Chicken cheese pasta bake in the oven. To have with salad.

Flights have been changed. I'm sad for dh going alone but know it's for the best. We've lost about £450. Which isn't ideal. But I'm hoping when I next visit the dr (next week) I can ask for a letter or something acknowledging my flight anxiety and pregnancy and saying that long haul flights aren't a great idea so I can see if I can claim on insurance. Hoping. If they don't do it they don't. But worth an ask right?

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/02/2017 19:01

It's worth an email to the CEO, if you can recoup even part of it then all the better.

WreckTangled · 07/02/2017 19:05

I think it's worth a try em Smile

Yes fluffy I also think after a few weeks of feeling sick and going to bed early I get into the habit. It's no good for mine and dh's love life BlushHmmGrin

lifelongfrugaleer · 07/02/2017 19:31

Absolutely worth a try em

ememem84 · 07/02/2017 19:41

It's the orange airline. Hm.

They can change flights. Dh is off on a stag in April his friend is flying with him. Nothingba been booked yet. It may be easier to change the details on the flights and change the dates then book dh a new flight.

Cagliostro · 07/02/2017 20:05

That's a good idea Em all worth a try to recoup some of the cash!

I'm not an HCP but I figured it out (after making a Confused face mind you)

This evening was a mad rush, as I went to collect my new door shelf thingies at Wilko but it took waaaay longer than it should have, so we had a real rush to tap dancing and needed a cab . And then part of the lesson was wasted as someone in another part of the school pressed the fire alarm! So I'm making sure I build those damn shelves tonight so it was all worth the hassle caused by collecting them! :o

Really glad we did make it to tap though (had a momentary panic that I didn't have enough money on me) - DD has been picked to be the leader in their show piece. I am SO happy for her - not just that she's taken to it so well (newest in the class but she's caught up) but because she was usually overlooked for this kind of thing before. Will really help her confidence! :) :)

Thanks creme might check that out next week.

WreckTangled · 07/02/2017 20:12

Well done to your dd Cag!

Tryingtosaveup · 07/02/2017 20:13

Oh Wreck I missed that too. The thread moves so quickly. Sorry. Hope you get it sorted. I'm not a HCP (I asked previously what that meant) but I knew what you meant.
Cag, hope letter is what you need.
Well, Mammy I am proud of you. Pensions are underrated. I pay into them for my DGCs and they are only little but we get the tax paid into their pension pots so they are boosted by HMRC.
NSD. not been out but very early start tomorrow.
