Awww italian she's SO cute! Love her coat and wellies too! Good news about the baby.

I'm worried about Christmas. I don't want to do any Christmas shopping until after we move house. Otherwise it just adds to the amount of stuff that we have to move. And it may get damaged or lost. That means I can't get a head start and go bargain hunting until at least late November! Blush Christmas shopping at Christmas sounds like a disaster! Haha!!

I'm assuming we will be in our new house by the end of November though. Touch food, fingers crossed, arrgghhh!

NeversellahouseCollie · 26/10/2016 19:00

Touch WOOD not food! CakeChocolate

Shesgotelectricboobs · 26/10/2016 19:24

genie if you cuff your jeans then fold them around the ankle and put socks over them they will go into boots.
I have explained that super badly. Check out the picture this sort of explains it.

Nsd today. I went riding but stayed and helped my instructor out. Just home so £30 saved.

Dh is making a strange thing for dinner. Chilli. With sliced potatoes on top. Sort of like a cottage pie. But not.

Wildernesstips · 26/10/2016 19:53

Great news on the baby Italian.

£2.95 lunch
£14 wine and chocolates (girlie night in with Bake Off)
£25 to DS1 for equipment for a uni trip

CremeEggThief · 26/10/2016 20:00

Great news about the baby, Italian and your DD looks adorable.

Great boots, Genie. You definitely need to tuck any trousers into those.

Forgot to say earlier all of the pumpkin food sounds delicious, Snuggly and very frugal too.

WreckTangled · 26/10/2016 20:10

Brilliant news italian!

I don't like pumpkin I'm afraid.

genie I agree that you need to wear jeans inside those boots.

Dh is off work tomorrow. We want to do something fun with the children but not sure what...

AdoraBell · 26/10/2016 20:20

Spent another £60 on Amazon, 2 electric toothbrushes.

SnugglySnerd · 26/10/2016 21:10

Great news, Italian. We're going to get DD her own doll when the babies come too.
Girlie, I missed a bit out, you are meant to boil the seeds for 10 mins before baking and bake for 40 mins at 180c, turning every 10 mins.

Cagliostro · 26/10/2016 21:18

Fab news Italian!

Girlie I don't really know Paddington but looks like you can get the bakerloo or circle line down to Embankment, which is only a few minutes walk away from Trafalgar Square where the gallery is :)

Cagliostro · 26/10/2016 21:19

Snuggly I'm sure DD should really have two baby dolls instead of one since it's twins :o

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 26/10/2016 21:21

Popped to co-op and spent £15 but got a fair bit for that, hoping to eek the food out till next week, might do a Morrisons online shop then as not done one for ages!

Good night of telly with Bake off and The Missing Grin

Collie yayyyy!! I haven't done much Christmas shopping either, I wouldn't worry too much it all comes together in the end.

Snuggly thank you, dd really likes seeds and they are meant to be super healthy so will give that a go.

Italian great news on the baby and your dd is so sweet, it does't feel like 5 mins since my dd was that small!

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 26/10/2016 21:24

Thanks cag had a quick look tonight and it looks fairly straight forward, do kids travel free on the underground?

Cagliostro · 26/10/2016 21:29

They do but not sure what age that ends, is your DD 10? I think 10 is ok anyway. They are free on buses as well.

AdoraBell · 26/10/2016 21:54

Collie is there anyone who has space to store Christmas bargains?

Fab news Italian

Interesting dinner there boobs, was it good?

Fluffy I almost asked if he was serious, but didn't want to risk putting him off. As well as spending too much he has a hoarding tendency, just like his parents. One positive of being back here and able to visit them is he is reminded just how much they have accumulated over the years.

Shesgotelectricboobs · 26/10/2016 22:16

adora yes. Dinner was strangely good. Le yum. And a use it up leftover dinner!!

Exhausted now. Watched bake off washed up and played with catface for a bit.

She outsmarted me. I tried to tempt her out with half a catstick treat. Still in its packet. She swiped it from me. ShockGrin clever girl outsmarting her Mummy.

AuditAngel · 26/10/2016 22:18

I have finally managed to catch up, now I just need to stay that way.

Today NSD, although collected the Tens machine I bought for my mum (who got lumbered with the kids when I went away as DH didn't check his rota).

Tomorrow I need to fill the car, but can reclaim.

Received a new tax code for this year changing my tax code up by about £2,500. This should mean I get an extra £1,250 this month in my pay packet. Will go off my credit card. I also got told that I overpaid £185 last year (more than I thought) so I should get that back too. Already received £250 feed in tariff, yes, off the credit card too.

Finally, I am owed some money, but not sure how much from DD2's joint party. Need to see how much the other mum paid out (stuff for sandwiches, cakes for party tea and 2 birthday cakes and candles) while I paid out about £190. We are sharing costs, so I'm hoping to get back about £75?

Tryingtosaveup · 26/10/2016 23:23

Great news Italian.
Girlie and Cag, kids are free on London buses and tubes til aged 12.
You can also use a credit card or debit card on the tube and swipe it just like an Oyster card. It guarantees to give you the lowest fare like oyster. And it's easier as you don't need to be bothered topping it up.
And you can reclaim any credit you have on your Oyster card. I did mine online.
NSD today 16th this month.

mammymammyIRL · 27/10/2016 05:40

Work is crazy busy so just skimread a few posts here before getting up

Ah girlie you're Watching the missing, I've only seen first episode yet. Hoping to watch episode 2 & 3 this weekend.

I've saved €55, had booked to get a new driving license 4.5 months early as couldn't find mine. Needed my passport for photo id, what was inside? My driving license Grin appointment cancelled & €55 spend postponed until March Grin

Dd's PT meeting this afternoon so finishing work 2 hours early Smile trying to decide what to do with my free hour. Dh says go out for a bite to eat by myself. I'm debating a walk.

Clever cat boobs

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/10/2016 06:12

Another nsd planned today. Need cash for childcare but that's all budgeted.

What do we think of the off results? Not going to say in case some haven't seen it

lifelongfrugaleer · 27/10/2016 06:13

Bake off result's ffs

Shesgotelectricboobs · 27/10/2016 06:46

life I think they chose the right person. They deserved to win. I would have liked one of the others to win.

I especially would have liked selasi to barge into the tent on finals day say "I got this guys" and win. But sadly...

Post office today to post two more eBay things. But other than that nsd. Have a total of £1.56 in my purse.

WreckTangled · 27/10/2016 07:13

Need to get teacher presents for Christmas. Would it be really naff of I got them oxfam gifts? You can get books for schools in Africa etc.

I owe work 5.5 hours work this week but I can't do it. I have no childcare unless I forgo a nice family day today and go in...

Shesgotelectricboobs · 27/10/2016 07:42

wreck no I don't think it would. My sis teaches and last year she was given a ridiculous amount of "best teacher" gifts. And soaps. So much soaps.

I think something like books for school kids in Africa would be a welcome change.

NeversellahouseCollie · 27/10/2016 07:51

wreck I like the Oxfam idea!

I've lost my voice and I've needed my inhaler loads so far already. I'm on the verge of an asthma attack. I need to manage it carefully to avoid having one. The trouble is I'm on a combination inhaler. There's a maximum amount of puffs I can have.

NSD as far as I'm aware

Oh and I rushed my online weekly shop yesterday and it was £63.
