I think that would be the perfect tattoo for you cag.
Can cats get hay fever does anyone know? Thinking I might have to take my poorly boy to see the vet. He can't stop sneezing and he has red eyes.

lilacclery · 16/05/2016 21:06

Appointment was €120 so not as bad as I was expecting plus because rash had calmed I'm to come in for a biopsy & another examination next time I get it but no charge that day. Mentioning my aunts name definitely helped they were classmates.

Getting blood tests done for possible coeliac disease as well as a host of other things. Imagine after all my time trying out wheat free if I turn out to be coeliac ipsogenix!

lilacclery · 16/05/2016 21:09

That tattoo sounds fab cag
Purple I wonder about one dog being diabetic he's drinking a lot lately

We're getting two kittens next month! Dd will be so excited, our current cats are untame outdoor cats that we feed, the new ones will be outdoor tame cats! Smile

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 16/05/2016 21:33

Well Cheshire cat took 2.5hrs and ds1 went to bed long before the sewing finished but he made the face, it looks nothing like the Cheshire cat other than right co!oured stripes and a hugggeee smile but hey he will be pleased its sat in his room ready for when he wakes - things you do for children ey

Comeonmommy · 16/05/2016 21:51

Ok, had a family emergency and am now £400 lighter. Not sure how rest of month will go!! Account is looking very poorlySad

Tryingtosaveup · 16/05/2016 23:42

Another NSD here because didn't go out. Spent day in the garden getting it ready to plant some veggies tomorrow.
I love the tattoo. I think the swallows symbolise freedom somehow.....freedom from whatever you want. I bet it hurt like hell though and I would never be brave enough.
Neighbour gave me some veggie plants they didn't need so that's my job for tomorrow sorted.

Cagliostro · 16/05/2016 23:58

oh no mommy :( hope you are ok Thanks

babsmam · 17/05/2016 06:40

Ememem84 · 17/05/2016 07:07

Today will be nsd. Dh decided yesterday we are ramping up our savings as of payday (Friday) and we are going to try and reduce the amount of waste we have. So no wasting food. No throwing stuff out unnecessarily.

He doesn't realise that I've been doing this for months....

Anyhoo. Lunches are packed - Mexican Limey chicken salad and a small pot of pineapple.

PurpleRibbons · 17/05/2016 07:20

Oh no, mommy hope you are ok.
Supermarket this morning.
After googling last night and examining him I think the cat has a rotten tooth making him sneeze. Poor thing, will phone vet later. I also have toothache, I wonder if the vet would do a 2-4-1 offer for me and the cat?! Grin

lilacclery · 17/05/2016 09:51

em it's hilarious when dh's think they've come up with the idea all by themselves isn't it Grin
Have you any snacks packed?

For myself today I have 2 ryvita, 1/4 avocado mashed with ground mixed peppercorns a wholemeal pitta some mozzarella cherry toms ham and a nectarine

lilacclery · 17/05/2016 09:55

Hope everything is ok mommy I know this is a frugaleering thread but family is more important

PurpleRibbons · 17/05/2016 09:59

Shopping was £67, not too bad as I bought loads for that! Might take DD for a run round the local NT place and an ice cream later but that should be it for today spending-wise.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 17/05/2016 10:25

Hope you are o.kay mommy

Babs what did you decide? Did he eat breakfast? Temp? A temp for me indicates a day off as does not eating.

Love the tattoos, really nice.

Lila kitten pics are compulsory Wink

east well done on the costume!

Need I am not sure I could stay with someone who voted Tory Grin

What are peoples thoughts on the EU? I am firmly on the side of staying in due to the thought of costs going up!!

Day off today not that you would know it as already taken two work related phone calls!! Taking my poor cat back to the vets later as apparently the bloods they took last week clotted so they need repeating. He is looking better in himself though so am hoping the insulin is finally kicking in.

Told the school this morning that I am taking dd out of school for 2 days after half term, I know it will be unauthorised but just hoping they won't fine me. My reason on the form was 'we need a holiday - its been a stressful year' Grin

Comeonmommy · 17/05/2016 10:45

Thank you all. My eldest step daughter is going through a bad patch but we just discovered it has escalated to not sleeping/eating properly, but worse, self harmingSad. She came round mine as she admitted she needed my help. We went through everything money wise with her, was a bit emotional for her. She hasn't been solely responsible for the monies she owes and she has been trying soooo hard to sort it herself but it has got too much. Me and my partner can't afford to clear everything nor would we and more importantly dsd doesn't want us to. She says the debt is hers to clear but she needed someone to step in. The money we gave her means the world to her, you could see a bit of weight lift from her shoulders. If that means cheap food for a few weeks then it was worth it Smile

CremeEggThief · 17/05/2016 11:38

Sorry to hear this, Comeonmommy, but you did the right thing. Your DSD is lucky to have you.Star

lilacclery · 17/05/2016 11:59

comeonmommy it's great that your dsd knew that she could come to you guys for help. Hopefully things will improve for her now.

I hope she has learned from what happened too
My db had money troubles a few years ago due to gambling. We weren't aware he had a problem, he turned his life around repaid all his debt(thankfully it was not to the wrong type of people) and has transformed himself.

PurpleRibbons · 17/05/2016 12:21

You sound like a lovely step mum comeonmommy, it's good that she has you to help her.
I've just pegged out a second load of washing, first load is virtually dry but it's clouded over a bit. I'm now wondering if I should get it in. I hope it doesn't rain, I want to go out later.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 17/05/2016 12:54

Ha purple I just had the same debate! I have left the washing out even though it is raining a bit Blush I'm sure it will brighten up in bit Wink

Been out and back, cat has had his blood test and I have taken some clothes back to Sainsbury so £21 back in, however spent £23 in Pets at Home on cat food!

Morrisons coming tonight thats £43 I think.

Bank balance is looking rather sorry for itself but have spent more this month on clothes and toiletries than usual due to going on holiday, in theory now not much left to get! Will have to wait till payday until I get my Euros Grin

lilacclery · 17/05/2016 15:07

girlie I like your reason for taking dd out of schoolSmile
We don't have the same system as you guys regarding absences at school. Dd will be missing 3 days of school next month and as she's super excited about her holiday I think I'd better inform the teacherGrin

I ran out of time this morning to peg out a load of washing but dh was home as not starting new job until 5 this evening so he probably did it. He's great for getting clothes washed & dried, finds clothes for washing even when I think everything's done unfortunately he's hopeless for putting them away so our dining room table can get over run with laundry. Smile

New cleaner started today, can't wait to get home and see what I think of the house.

Ynab is working for me, I'm using it steadily since last month and have a good balance in my current account for 2 days before payday despite eating out twice this week. I'm happy with that.

CremeEggThief · 17/05/2016 15:21

I hope the blood test shows your cat is improving, Girlie.

I did my Sainsburys order online for tomorrow and it's estimated at £44.90.

NSD. I had lunch in the garden for the first time earlier. It might be our last sunny day for a while, so I'm enjoying it .

WreckTangled · 17/05/2016 15:31

Girlie our LA doesn't fine unless you miss ten consecutive sessions ie five full days.

Nsd.

Have got my parents to baby sit Sunday so dh and I can go shopping on our own and out for lunch. Dh can pay. Woo hoo!

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 17/05/2016 15:58

Yes would be really surprised if they fine us but we will see i guess, its typical that this year her attendance has been so poor but that is part of the reason we need a holiday!!

Have had a load of paperwork through about my house it is so scary doing this on my own. I started reading through it all and then felt myself panicking so have left it for a bit, have also arranged to meet the solicitor next week to go through everything for my own peace of mind. Is 8 still about? Am wondering how they are getting on as think they were buying a shared ownership as well.

Dd is at science club so off to pick her up in a min.

Checked my Morrisons delivery online and was quite impressed at how much I got for £43 Grin that included £13 worth of savings. Did I tell you all that a couple of weeks ago the driver accidentally handed me my receipt and someone elses?! It made for fascinating reading looking at someones shopping list Blush they spent £4.50 on figs Shock in total they spent well over £100 and there were no savings at all. It always surprises me that there are people out there who genuinely don't think about money or saving it!

needastrongone · 17/05/2016 16:28

Girlie, he won't be voting Tory again in a hurry Grin Hope Dcat improves. Take it steady with the form filling and seek help if you need it. I think if you break it into chunks, that can sometimes help.

Mummy Your poor DSD, it's such a tough call isn't it? You did the right thing. My brother did similar when he was young. My DP did make him pay it back, but over quite a period of time. Is she ok in herself, or need additional emotional support?

Nice to sit outside and have lunch Creme

Oooh Lila, let me know what you think of the new cleaner, I find it fascinating when a different cleaner does your house!

NSD so far, I'm going to catch up with online banking tonight. Having the 1,2,3 account with Santander has already earned me £16 in a couple of weeks.

Beef fajitas tonight.

Lost another bloody chicken, it got it's neck caught on some fencing, so that was not nice to come back from work to Sad

needastrongone · 17/05/2016 16:29

Shit, forgot £3.20 in M&S, so LSD, not NSD.
