Welcome back audit

£35 Aldi
£2 homebargains

£30 fuel.

8FencingWire · 19/03/2016 04:26

NSD. I've got a tank full, so shouldn't need to spend anything. Payday thursday, I am holding on to that.

WreckTangled · 19/03/2016 06:47

Em that's brilliant!

Welcome back audit.

Off to lidl this morning also need to by ds stuff for Easter bonnet.

babsmam · 19/03/2016 07:13

Welcome back audit.
Nice on em you deserve it.
Skatepark coaching today then DD wants to go swimming so £20 to £25 all in. £72 sainsburys order coming later.

Ememem84 · 19/03/2016 07:56

Dh was out last night. I stayed in and we had agreed that I'd pick him up at midnight. Because one headlight has gone on our car I didn't have any wine last night. Police are doing way more Friday night checks so didn't want to give them excuses to tell me off incidentally I'd have only had one very small glass

At 11.45 as I was getting ready to leave, dh texts to tell me not to bother he's going into town and will find his own way back!! Grrr. I was really angry. Told him I was tired and had wanted to chill and get an early night last night.

Told him not to wake me up when he came home and to sleep in the spare room.

I didn't hear him come in so no idea what sort of state he's in. Know he's home though as a few weeks ago we activated the "find friends" thing on our phones. So I can see that his phones home (hopefully also with him).

Yesterday's spends £9 on lunch for us both, £32 on flowers chocs and wine for my god others birthday. Ordered through m&s and had issues with the website (she may end up with 2,1 or no flowers. I may also end up with flowers....)

Today's spends £25 riding lesson. And we were supposed to be going to b&q to buy tiles and filler and paint.

Cagliostro · 19/03/2016 09:41

Not quite caught up with the thread yet but Knitting sorry your DH is having trouble, is he only taking the Naproxen after eating? My GP was very strict on that when she prescribed it for me. Mind you I only take it on bad days really so probably not enough for a bad effect anyway.

I've been prescribed codeine as well, but it messes my tummy up even on minimum dose Hmm annoying waste of £8 as we don't get the exemption certificate at the moment. I think we will though, once DH is settled in his new job, as the hourly rate is much lower (even lower than my council wage). His salary at the job he just left took us just over the limit for many things, it often felt like we were worse off IYSWIM.

Meeting another family in a couple of weeks re: music lessons (I'm not adding anything else into this week, as I want as much time in the house with DH as possible). Really feel like things can turn round a bit now. I want to look back into saving again - we had to stop all that and take a little out of the ISA as well when we found out about DH's job situation - but hoping that we can get back on track once he's settled, and then when I know what's happening with my job we will know exactly where we stand. I haven't heard anything yet about redeployment and only have 4 weeks left. Eeeeek. I did find out they are fiddling about with my annual leave so I don't lose it though so that's good.

WreckTangled · 19/03/2016 10:23

You can buy naproxen otc in America. I find it doesn't help me though much prefer arcoxia.

£51.49 in lidl - more than I expected as I didn't get loads
£20.70 in sainsburys Angry in coffee deodorant tissues pate and Easter bonnet stuff.

Cagliostro · 19/03/2016 10:40

It's odd how different countries control medicines in different ways! I'm finding it ok, I could probably use it more TBH but I was paranoid about the side effects on my stomach. DH was on tramadol when he hurt his back and it was awful, he had to take other medicine just to protect his stomach, he ended up on a huge cocktail of stuff. So I'm hoping I can just stick to my regular pain relief, and not bother with any extras. GP said if I can't handle codeine I would try dihydrocodiene next and then tramadol so hopefully I can avoid that. TBH though, if DH's new hours are as he's been told (i.e. no overtime, and lates or earlies rather than whole days IYSWIM) it will put less strain on me and my failing body! And then when I get my work situation sorted out we will really know what we're dealing with. I still feel rather in limbo but it's certainly a lot better than a few weeks ago! :)

Right, DH has taken DD to dancing, I've told him we are straight back on the recording-all-spends wagon :o and I'm getting more laundry done so we can crack on with tidying when they're back.

babsmam · 19/03/2016 10:58

That's good news about your leave cag. No reason why you should loose it.
Dc want to go swimming this afternoon. It's fucking hell on a Saturday afternoon as the inflatables are out. Sigh

Ememem84 · 19/03/2016 11:22

Dh is still in bed. Am hoping that once I get back from the stables he'll be up and about. wishful thinking I've made a list of things which have to be done today. So far have done two loads of washing.

He asked me to get supplies from the shop on my way back to make wicked sandwiches. But we're not food shopping until Tuesday. As limited funds in joint account. So he'll have to suffer through his hangover without crisps or Coke. mean wife

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/03/2016 11:27

I've started doing that, if dh drinks all his milk he has to have my soya milk.

So far it's not killed him.

Ememem84 · 19/03/2016 11:30

Agree. He'll cope. So far he's just lying in bed moaning. I'm glad to be going out.

I was angry at him this morning for staying out so late because he promised he wouldn't get that drunk and would be home by midnight.

So haven't made breakfast for him or a cup of tea. He can sort himself out.

babsmam · 19/03/2016 11:46

Don't blame you for being cross em

WreckTangled · 19/03/2016 11:56

Cag Google arcoxia it's a NSAID but it's more gentle on the stomach.

Next door have a digger in the garden so free entertainment today for the dc

beesarethebest · 19/03/2016 12:03

Well done em and welcome back audit

Spent £77 at Aldis! How is that possible?! Bought a new frying pan though. Badly need new one.

Will spend quite a bit later on my hair. Yesterday at work paid £4 for lunch.

Was in London on Thursday for a meeting with potential new employers (?!) and spent £7 for lunch and drink. (Yes it's me - had to NC as have apparently been spotted by some mean colleagues...).

WreckTangled · 19/03/2016 12:05

Spotted?! Shock what a nightmare! How did the meeting go?

Ipsos · 19/03/2016 12:58

Hello again :-) Just dropping in to see how things are going. ds and I have an absolute shocker of a flu virus just now with all the symptoms you could possibly want. Just I thought there were no other symptoms in the world, the light bulb in the dining room blew and then I knew we'd finally hit the jackpot.

On the plus side, I've spent almost nothing on food for a week, and barely run the dishwasher and ds is happy to have an excuse to live on ginger oatcakes and ginger beer which are his absolute favourite.

I hope everything's going well there. The garden designer man is coming on Monday and I can hardly contain myself. I can't wait to have our garden look like a real place again.

FlowersBrew and Cake to you all, as appropriate. Smile I hope the fortunes are smiling on you all.

beesarethebest · 19/03/2016 13:15

wrecked indeed. And they didn't tell me 'hey we know you are bees on MN maybe you want to change your name...' They went and told someone else and that someone else told my friend who told me. So I had to delete posts particularly around my job hunt and issues. It was meant to be my outlet.

Meeting went well. Hopefully they will get back to me re offer. It sounds like they will. But who knows.

Cagliostro · 19/03/2016 13:22

Oh shit bees that's horrible :(

TBH it was fear about that sort of thing that made me determined to stick with my NC this time.

Horrible headache this morning - erm, afternoon Blush - but must crack on.

AdoraBell · 19/03/2016 13:45

Hmm at mean colleagues

Cag glad you won't lose annual leave, when does DH start his new job?

Today or tomorrow I need to get cash out for school dinners, it will be £28 for next week.

Yesterday I also spent £110 on upcoming school trip, both DDs, and gave DD2 £20 for a class trip. She finished the bread on Thursday before I had a chance to make a packed lunchHmm

Ememem84 · 19/03/2016 13:51

Back from riding. Dh has progressed from bed to couch. But is now hungover. I think this morning he was still drunk.

I've taken Pity on him and bought greasy sausage rolls from the bakery crisps and Coke.

Dude seriously needs to learn. I've shouted at him already that it's not on. If we had kids he wouldn't be able to just drink his body weight and write off a weekend.

beesarethebest · 19/03/2016 14:04

Thanks guys. So I'm staying around here for now... And you guys will have the pleasure of hearing me out...! Will do another NC again soon just to cover tracks. Do bear with me... Smile

Ememem84 · 19/03/2016 14:12

bees omgs! That's one of my nightmares. That I'll be spotted by friend colleague.

But so far so good.

I'd love to share a picture of dh now. He looks so pathetic.

But I'll share this instead. This is my favourite horse face. She was so good today.

beesarethebest · 19/03/2016 14:27

Thing is, I didn't think I was that identifiable. Clearly I was. Or rather there were these despicable people who called themselves my colleagues who tracked/stalked me and managed to put 2 and 2 and somehow decided that I was me.

WreckTangled · 19/03/2016 14:43

I think they would definitely have to have stalked you to guess it was you. I expect I would recognise you irl if I knew you as we've both been on this thread for a long time (years!) but from the odd post there's no way!

My hip is agony, serves me right for not sitting down all morning. I've been to lidl, sainsburys, made shortbread, helped ds make his Easter bonnet, put all the shopping away obv, folded up a load of clean washing, done two loads of washing and hung it up and loaded the dishwasher. Oh and hoovered downstairs. Doesn't seem like much I suppose.
