Hello! I'm back after not posting for a while - room for one more?

Had our tax credit renewal through... Oh dear :( significantly worse than before, and with all the other things stopping like FSM and prescription exemption, we will need to tighten our belts further!

Got a couple of cheapish things planned in half term (most of which needs to be spent in a mad tidying spree, so these are incentives really) but we've agreed we will need to be even stricter thereafter.

Off to have flu jab and kids having nasal spray later at docs. That's frugal, hopefully will save money on tissues and drugs .

7.53 in Asda on partly essential partly frivolous buys. First time in a month I've treated myself to a bottle of diet Coke and prepacked fruit (and only because the loose fruit was rubbish).
Tonight we're having takeaway but DP is paying.
Potential for an NSD tomorrow, if I get my arse into gear tonight and pack myself a lunch.

Much better start to the week this week. Was having NSD until I decided to pay one of my bills with money still in account. Salary goes in on Thursday so will pay the rest off then.

Bought tickets to a kids play today but this will be part of their Christmas present and came out of Christmas fund so I feel that is ok.

I'm planning on having 4 NsD's each week between now and Christmas to help recover from last weeks massive spending spree.

NSD - for once!!!!

I am useless at remembering who posts what but must mention that changing names via deed poll is absolutely lovely. DD's middle name is dedicated to my best friend, who is also her godmother. DD is fiesty and brave, like my best friend, and far more than me. I like the fact she has her middle name because of my best mate

So batch cooked chili con carne lasagne tomato sauce veggie soup and a choco cake and a bread... Now off to friends to drop off together with a welcome home flower...

I've been waiting for a delivery from parcelforce all day it was a Saturday delivery but as I was out the just took it back to the depot (all my neighbours were in and every other courier just leaves them!).

And it's oooooh so tempting. However, I've heard they're quite expensive actually - the discs to make the coffee. I saw the machine on Amazon for £80. But then, Costa makes out in the long run, don't they, as you have to keep buying their discs. So not sure it's even a good deal.

Half term here n also first day of mat leave for me trip to cinema with ds for kids am with popcorn n drink was £6.10 then aldi shop was £13 but Inc a nursing bra n pk of hugggeee knickers for post birth.

Picked up 2 baby sleeping bags this afternoon off freecycle have given so much away recently so nice to see something posted I needed n tied in with a trip to some old castle ruins although closed for winter u can walk around outside n feed ducks n hugggeee fish.

Roast chicken for dinner is other half of chicken from Sat night n will still be meat left over.

LSD today. Bought a Christmas pressie for D's £15 in argos but will get that back from grandma. £4.99 for a white king size sheet and £1 on white makeup for ghost costumes x3 for beaver party.

LSD here for me - some frivolous roll yoghurts and jelly as I've had my wisdom teeth out and am still not on solids and felt a but sorry for myself!

Plus my Tube fare to work and back - total about £10.

Costa pods are on offer in tescos for £3 for 16 Americano every couple of months. Amazon price match if you buy 5 packs together.

When the pods are out of patent the price will fall, like the nespresso ones have.

So far, roads £3 by the time I get home
£2 in supermarket on a litre of good Olive oil, Halloween sweets, biccies for DH, art paper for school and yoghurt. Used £12 in Néctar points for the balance .

£2.50 on a sneaky Starbucks.

DH managed To get cash so I will get Veg/eggs/honey later.
