In a US interview with Bill Maher, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has just nuked the narrative.

“If you look at the Pfizer vaccine studies, the people who got the vaccine had a 23 percent HIGHER death rate from all causes.”

Bill Maher panics.
“But that could be the disease itself…”

Kennedy ends it.
“Then the vaccine doesn’t WORK, does it?”

That’s it. Game over.

If a vaccine doesn’t reduce overall deaths, it failed.
If deaths go UP, it’s not protection. It’s harm.

They censored doctors.
They buried data.
They bullied the public.

Now the truth is leaking out anyway. We have all been gaslighted on an industrial scale.

Your post is pretty much a word for word copy of nonsense doing the rounds on social media. You can do better than this.

And it really is absolute nonsense.

Read your cut and paste tripe back: “If a vaccine doesn’t reduce all-cause mortality, it failed”. Just really sit and have a think about that. Because when you do, I would really hope you'd realise that this isn't how vaccines, or indeed almost any medical intervention, should possibly be evaluated. They're designed to reduce the risk of a specific disease and its serious outcomes. They're not designed to make people fucking immortal or override every other cause of death thereafter.

By that logic, seatbelts would 'fail' if people wearing them still died of cancer, suicide, or in car accidents where the belt made no difference because a post went through their head or whatever.

Kennedy's analysis is so blunt and non-robust, it's ridiculous. “All-cause mortality” is useless. In order to begin to make any claims regarding vaccine harm, we'd need to know what the causes of death were, whether they're even biologically plausible consequences of a vaccine, whether, when you break it down by cause of death, the number of deaths that WERE biologically plausible consequences of the vaccine were in large enough number to be statistically significant... Kennedy skips all of this tiresome detail and treats a single relative percentage as a damning verdict. He didn't 'nuke' anything.

Except maybe the brains of gullible people like you. Yes I'm getting personal. It is TIRESOME wading through this kind of shite.

From the hundreds of people I know, I don't know anyone who died or was hospitalised by (or with) Covid. Strange, for a dreadful global pandemic eh?

I now a few who had been vaccinated who had a hard time with Covid though (fit young people, not old people). And I know of at least 5 who had an adverse event from their vaccine, and someone of 55 who died suddenly from an unexplained heart attack within 2 weeks of getting theirs. Coincidence of course ;)

My family, who have by enlarge not been vaccinated, all had very mild Covid symptoms. No sudden deaths, cancers, or unusual side effects either. Very strange.

It’s know not now.

It’s by and large and not by enlarge.

I'm an epidemiologist. As has already been pointed out several times the article that you linked states at the beginning that there is no evidence that vaccines were the cause of the increased mortality following covid. It also seems to be referring to excess mortality in the entire Japanese population, not comparing the rate in those who did or did not have the covid vaccine. I can't comment on Japan, but having done some work on UK data the reasons for the excess mortality following covid are very clear. Firstly, although deaths from covid dropped once covid became endemic, it still existed and would still have been causing deaths. Secondly, the incidence rates of serious conditions, such as cancer, cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes fell sharply during the early covid lockdowns and increased substantially once the covid lockdowns ended. This can be quite clearly plotted on a graph. Thirdly treatment for those who had already been diagnosed was in some cases delayed. For example certain procedures in patients with heart attacks couldn't be carried out due to lack of intensive care beds, as they were being used for covid patients. This lead to a backlog and patients being diagnosed and treated later leading to increased mortality.

OP can you provide links to any academic papers that give mortality figures for people who did and did not have a covid injection, adjusted for age, sex and comorbidities? Because that is the information you need to support you argument, not the paper you have linked.

KateShugakIsALegend · 14/01/2026 11:29

@Chrissykabel again, if 'they' wanted to make money and.control us, was COVID really the best way to go about it?

Social media, consumerism, destruction of nature, these are all real, ongoing evils, not imagined or past.

Put your efforts into doing something constructive about them.

I guarantee you will feel better.

Why post ??? Seriously why ??
anti vax is a minority standpoint and especially on mn
you are sounding like your views are totally entrenched and no one and nothing will shift it one iota

so why bother ? What do you hope to achieve?

And the usual sensationalist post to suit a narrative based on a man who still thinks that MMR causes autism and doesnt agree with any vaccination. Pot kettle black I’m afraid.

And did the moon landings really happen and what about contrails?

Good grief. I despair at the ignorance on here sometimes.

Level75 · 14/01/2026 11:31

I'd suggest to the OP that if something isn't an area of their expertise they use a LLM to analyze the issue for them.

I got chat gpt to read the full article. And asked "This is a piece of research that someone believes shows that the vaccine cases deaths. Is this what it shows?"
The answer was "What you pasted does not show that COVID-19 vaccines caused excess deaths." and then a big long explanation as to what it did and didn't show.

I also asked "Does it show the vaccine doesn't work '
ChatGPT said:
Short answer: No — that article does not show that COVID-19 vaccines “don’t work.”

Here’s why.

What people usually mean by “work” with COVID vaccines is:

Do they reduce severe illness and death?

Do they reduce infection and transmission? (to some extent, for some time)

Those are two very different things.

What the Japanese article actually shows
It points out three true things:

Japan had very high vaccination and booster uptake.

Omicron caused a huge wave of infections in 2022–23.

Japan had high excess deaths in 2022–23.

Then it suggests vaccines might be involved.

But it never compares:

vaccinated vs unvaccinated people

risk of dying from COVID

risk of dying from any cause

So it cannot answer whether vaccines worked or not.

It only shows:

“A lot of people were vaccinated, and later a lot of people died.”

That is not evidence of failure — it’s a timeline coincidence

So you got the flu vaccines but still nearly died of flu (a few times)? Hmmmm

For goodness sake you do know how the flu vaccine works and that are several strands? Your ignorance and unwillingness to engage without gaslighting or accusations is astounding. I’m done you can’t argue with crazy or stupid…..

APatternGrammar · 14/01/2026 11:32

I understand that people who don’t have much of a scientific education can easily be led astray by vaccine misinformation. But why do you care whether other people agree with you? Why not just mind your own business treating everything with ivermectin until you die of something curable?

And of those 90% of people, there is an increased risk of death of 23%.

I wouldn't know im not living in fear and spending my life on Google obsessing over vaccines and covid im living my life

arethereanyleftatall · 14/01/2026 11:33

Do you know anyone who worked in a hospital op that you could speak to?
my sister did, and says it was absolutely horrendous. She was desperate for the vaccine, for all her loved ones to have it because of what she saw. That tells me all I need to know.

Chrissykabel · 14/01/2026 11:08

Sure, but then might I suggest you check your history for some nuance as to when it was actually mass introduced.

Yeah OP. Is it ok just to check some stuff, just to give us all a better handle on things.

What is your position on:

1 Flat Earth.
2 The Moon Landing was a hoax
3 Area 51 and aliens.

I am just interested. I have been in many conversations similar to this, just to have them say " The Royals are all lizards"

So it is handy to have some idea of where the conversation will end up, before investing too much time :-)

Unpaidviewer · 14/01/2026 11:34

What kind of people got the covid vaccine? Would it not be similar to the flu vaccine? And are they more likely to be vulnerable and therefore die?
