Starting with yesterday's ONS infection survey report, which showed a further increase, although at a relatively sedate trajectory - certainly compared with this time last year.

percentage movement in the 7 day averages for admissions and number in hospital

and the actual seven day average numbers - full year comparisons

and daily and seven day averages for December-March, last year and so far this year

regional rates per million for the past month - admissions and number in hospital. South West is the stand out

admissions daily numbers and seven day average for each NHS England region
