If you caught it off a person in your household how long did it take to show a positive test?

Our DD came home from school on Thursday unwell with a high temperature and tested positive. Me and DH have been testing daily as he has to for work and household members. So far - touch wood - we have been negative so every day that passes we are hopeful we won’t catch it.

If someone in your household had it and others caught it how long did it take?

I tested positive on a Sunday, same day as symptoms started and same day we picked DD up from university. DH was positive on the Wednesday but DD is still negative and I suspect won't get it now (I'm 11 days in and DH 8 days).
We're all triple vaxxed and DD had COVID in October 2020.
She has been largely keeping out of our way though.

My son tested positive Friday night, so far day 5 none of us have caught it from him. Despite me being a idiot forgetting and I finished his chicken soup using same spoon 🤦‍♀️ So far negative and no symptoms

Both triple vacc’d here.
I’ve felt unwell since last Wednesday, tested negative Friday, strongly positive Sunday morning. Been in bed ever since.
H has tested positive this morning (we were both sat with someone on Tuesday who tested positive Wednesday morning 🙄)
H says it feels like a cold, I’ve spent 3 days in bed so both very different experiences.

DD tested positive on the Wednesday. The following Monday I started to feel unwell. My LFTs were negative on Tuesday and Wednesday and I tested positive on Friday.

My dad started showing symptoms Thursday, she tested positive Friday, I started with symptoms yesterday, feeling awful this morning but LFT is negative (last time I had it I was neg on LFT too), dd still testing positive even though she feels better than I do.

Dd not dad

I tested positive two days after dd and DP remained negative. We’re going into the third week since DD’s positive and he’s still negative.

We test regularly because we visit a nursing home on a regular basis.
