Thank you for the latest graphs @boys3. I'm a grateful lurker - who is in the SW. It's a very stark reality check of where we are in the pandemic down here!

Jenasaurus · 29/03/2022 22:23

Thank you @boys3 Interesting graphs as always

DS said five of his teachers are off with covid and they have supply teachers (hampshire). I'm relieved he doesn't have exams this year.

Thank you for keeping this thread so informative

I find those trends really very worrying.

Thanks so much for the info on here.

boys3 · 30/03/2022 21:32

I haven't posted any case rate tables for quite a while nor am I planning on starting now as such

However had a quick look at test numbers (PCR+LFD) in England as the downloads sections provides a single file with every LAs figure since day 1.

So this is aggregating back to region and showing on a rate per 100,000 for the first week in Feb as compared with the week ending last Sunday. To follow are some regional graphs by week since start Feb showing the case rate per 100,000 and test rates. Which creates a lot of very similar looking graphs albeit with different y-axis scales

Today's ons data:
England has increased and the % positive was 1 in 13
Wales has increased and was 1 in 14
NI the trend in uncertain and was 1 in 15
Scotland has increased and was 1 in 12

Regionally south west is the highest at 9.4% (almost 1 in 10!)
Age 2 to year 6 are still the highest, but more worrying is the steep increase in the 50+ groups.
