No mention of how Covid started anymore. reckon it was made in a lab and the experiment went wrong. Why won’t they just admit it. Not that anyone can do anything now but so many people have died. All those lost love ones. Relatives, people that have had Covid and long Covid suffers should get compensation I say

I am asking why the two countries would be working together, with apparently the rest of the world leaders and almost all of the media colluding with them, and by what mechanism they are doing so.

Just saying the US was funding gain of function research and now the vaccine manufacturers are making trillions is stupidly simplistic. Why would the necessary tens of thousands of people cooperate to make this happen?

If you can't understand my questions, which are very clearly laid out and enumerated, then you're not capable of the thought process necessary to figure out whether this really is or could be a conspiracy, because those are the tip of the iceberg of the most basic questions that would need answers.[/quote]
I understand your question.

How the fuck is anyone on Mumsnet supposed to know why the powers that be are doing this?? I haven't a clue but I can hazard a guess based on factual evidence.

Aside from a fucking pangolin -what evidence do you have that it's not as I say?

doublemonkey · 18/12/2021 18:44

@user333334

The evidence I have is that the sheer size and scope of the global cooperation and planning make it literally an impossibility. I mean, Downing Street couldn't even hold an illegal Christmas party without it leaking.

Governments are corrupt. There's been a lack of transparency. China is a problematic world power. The US and other countries funded gain of function research. Pharmaceutical companies made money. I'm not denying that any of those pieces are or could be true, but without evidence or at least theory, they can't add up to what you're saying they do.

Asking for evidence that something is not a global conspiracy isn't really the way logic works. If you shine the light of reason on your allegations, they just don't hold up.

Sorry, what allegations do you think I've made?

Despite your rudeness I will continue to engage with you for a bit.

  1. I don't think if there was a lab leak that it was intentional.
  1. Therefore I don't think all the world leaders and media are colluding with anyone or anything. I don't think the US and China are "working together" (it would appear to be the opposite). I do not think there is a conspiracy.
  1. What I do think is that there is enough circumstantial evidence to make a mistaken lab leak plausible and it should be investigated.
  1. Attempts to investigate have been hampered by China refusing to release data and give necessary access so it is currently impossible to either confirm or rule out the verity of a lab leak.
  1. Governments are busy handling a pandemic and the investigation is currently at a stalemate (see point 4). The US politicians are currently having an in-fight over the investigation.
  1. Much of the media is reporting on this despite the theory being tainted by association with the Trump administration.
  1. Your questions are overly simplistic / strawmen and founded in your misinterpretation / misrepresentation of what I am saying.

What allegations would those be exactly?

"But there is absolutely no logical explanation for deliberately releasing a coronavirus for which they had no mititgations nor control over once it was in the community".

Also why would they release it right outside the lab? Agree it seems more likely to have been an accident if the lab is involved at all.
