Lewis Hamilton got his knighthood as he is involved and supports loads of charity work including Great Ormand Street Hospital, Save the Children, UNICEF amongst them. He also has his own Charitable Foundation. Good on him.

He's so adept at dealing with inane questions, often from the assembled press, he handles them professionally and in a straightforward manner

Yesterday I reckon he was properly pissed off re the Downing Street Christmas party questions but handled it very well & smoothly & diplomaticlly

I have a definite crush on Chris Whitty. Which is less weird than my one from years ago on Boris Johnson!??? 😳😢 Apologies for that awful confession.

I’m unimpressed by him. I remember in the early press conferences, he played down the risk of the virus, in line with Boris ‘I was shaking hands with people with Covid just yesterday’ Johnson. He was pretty useless in terms of taking account of the science for some time. He has been better this week, but in my view, he’s looking for his Knighthood, unlike Van Dam, who has real integrity. Too much integrity for Johnson, which is why we haven’t seen him for a while.

The man deserves a knighthood just for working alongside Boris Johnson. Boris Johnson I don't trust one bit, but Chris whitty talks sense.

I hope he knows how appreciated he is. I suspect he would do the right thing even if not.

He makes me proud to be British, and with Bojo as PM, that's not something thars easy to achieve these days.

Nothing to do with his character, he seems very nice but I feel sorry for him having to stand up and spout continual lies to which most of the population seem to be addicted to!
