Went in to Norwich ASDA today first time been to in months but the 25% off 6 bottles of wine lured me in, I was amazed at how many people of all ages were not wearing face coverings, is it that we are now so fed up and numb from all the Covid hype that we don’t care or is it the frustration of having Boris and his cronies getting away with it time and time again, like the party that was not a party or the second jobs or the £840.00 rolls of wallpaper that he decorated his flat with that we don't wear on on principal ?, cos we all do that don’t we £840.00 per roll that’s as much as some people take home in a month, anyway I understand some people have certain medical conditions where they don’t have to wear a face covering but why is it they always appear in twos ?, how does that work is there a website called lanyards .com where they arrange to go shopping together, any way got the wine NO Turkeys should be some in stock later so they said not getting my hopes up.

I think you're over thinking things.

Lots of people never wore masks - some don't believe in them, some don't like being told what to do and others forget occasionally.

See I was in Norwich last week visiting family and I was surprised to see masks everywhere, even outside which is pointless anyway.

I didn’t go to that Asda though. But high level of mask compliance in Blue Boar Lane Tesco, if that helps.

I’ve found the opposite to you. I’m surprised how quickly the majority have complied with wearing them again.

Mask wearing really brings out the worst in people , but I do understand those who have to wear them for many many hours being fed up with it , the people I have trouble having any sympathy with are those who refuse without any grounds at all when it's only inside a shop for a small amount of time. The paper ones are not that bad and it only advices a covering so a scarf would also be a acceptable too.
I do feel that some just like to make a fuss and it makes it difficult for those who really cannot wear them or who are genuinely exempt.

Went to Lidl in Sprowston last night and most people were masked. in fact, I only saw one person who wasn't.

How many of those 6 bottles of wine do you have left, OP?

Where I live, the vast majority of people are wearing masks.

I went into my local convenience store earlier. Four customers in there, and I was the only one wearing a mask.

Yeah I find it annoying when people don’t wear masks. I also find it slightly annoying that it annoys me. Like, why do I really care?! They don’t come near me, it doesn’t affect me in any way. And yet. I find it so bloody irritating.

YABU, 99% of people in my local Asda were masked earlier this week.
100% on my train this morning.
Simply not seeing much non-compliance.

I don't wear one in a shop anymore because it makes no sense to me and tbh I think I caught my bout of Covid in the office. If someone asks me to wear one I will but that's it. Yesterday I was in Lidl and this woman was backing away from me at the checkout like I was a leper. I've always liked the social distancing more

There's a lot of non-mask wearers where I am. I can't say I'm that surprised though as the rules change every 5 minutes so no one knows what the fucks going on.

I do wear mine now (begrudgingly), but I imagine lots of people are looking to countries where masks have been mandated for months and yet are still seeing an exponential rise in cases…

I don't care about covid anymore, simple as that.

I'm 25 and lost some of the best years of my life because of covid, I refuse to waste anymore of my time, I don't care what the impact is.
I'm not wearing a mask, haven't worn one since last year and I honestly couldn't care less, if anyone questions me ill literally blank their existence out.
If you're scared stay in your hole, let the people who aren't scared and actually want a life have one.
