Positive ds, can my cleaner come tomorrow?

Just that really! Since he got his positive PCR, he's been banished to his room, so if he stays in there, and she only does downstairs, can she come? (1st world problem, I know!)

Are you seriously asking this question.

Theuniverseandeverything · 31/10/2021 09:53

No that’s not fair on her.

Jedstre · 31/10/2021 09:54

Why don’t you ask your cleaner, see what she says Hmm

EllieSattler · 31/10/2021 09:55

Don't be that person. Really.

cheeseisthebest · 31/10/2021 09:55

Whether she can or not it's not really fair on her is it?

Babymamamama · 31/10/2021 09:56

Is this a joke?

FigureofEight · 31/10/2021 09:56

??? Really asking this.

Surely you need to be there looking after him so you can clean 😀

Watsername · 31/10/2021 09:57

No

QueenofLouisiana · 31/10/2021 09:57

No. It’s not essential care, really it isn’t.

Thethingswedoforlove · 31/10/2021 09:58

Of course she can’t come.

BIWI · 31/10/2021 09:59

Of course she can't come. But you should also be paying her, as it's not her fault she can't clean for you.

Amazed you're even asking, TBH.

21stDentistryGirl · 31/10/2021 09:59

I wouldn’t even ask her lest it put her on the spot and she feels she should.

Oftenithinkaboutit · 31/10/2021 09:59

Tell me
Tell me
Tell me op that you are going to tell her!

cheeseisthebest · 31/10/2021 10:00

Yes and definitely pay her!

MarshaBradyo · 31/10/2021 10:01

You need to let her know

legosunqueen · 31/10/2021 10:02

Tell her not to come but still pay her - it's the right thing to do...

HoikingUpMyBigGirlPantss · 31/10/2021 10:03

Tell her he's positive (do you even have to ask!) And pay her even if she doesnt come as its not her fault. You dont know whether she's triple vacced or her health situation and you'd be asking her to clean the bathroom that he's used!

Whycantibetangy · 31/10/2021 10:05

Same situation. She had a couple of hours to herself, I paid her in full and had to hoover my own stairs Grin

Good cleaners are hard to find OP, treat them well

SoftSheen · 31/10/2021 10:05

Of course not Hmm You'll just have to dig out the marigolds and scrub your own bathroom.

freckles20 · 31/10/2021 10:07

Are you happy to pay her lost income if she catches Covid whilst working for you? She will need at least 10 days off.

As a self employed worker I would be upset if any of my clients knowingly exposed me to a risky situation where I caught Covid and couldn't work for 10 days. I get no sick pay and practically noone in work is eligible for any government help.

Pay her anyway and don't ask her to come OP. I'm agog that you'd even consider it.

Soontobe60 · 31/10/2021 10:07

Don’t be so ridiculous! I’m afraid you’re going to have to break out the marigolds and do your own cleaning.

PurpleDaisies · 31/10/2021 10:07

How is this a question? Of course not!

Beachbreak2411 · 31/10/2021 10:10

Absolutely not. Clean you own damned house and pay her for the lost hours. Do not put her at risk just because you want someone else to clean up after you.

PurpleEchoLamp · 31/10/2021 10:12

OK, point taken. I'm a bit clueless, obviously.
Thanks all.

Please tell me this is a wind up...

No, your cleaner shouldn't be coming, but hoping you're going to pay her
