Is anyone else glad this potential decision has been taken away? I was very much undecided about vaccinating my older dc and now feel a bit of a weight has been lifted now its not something I need to consider.

Berating them more for their constant reassertions of misinformation Ffrothi... we are not the ones who called people who want to choose the vaccine sheep .

I noticed that too Ffroth it has got absolutely nothing to do with them! It is none of their business the informed choices we make for our own children.

Yes it was published in the Telegraph on the 5th of September under the article: 'We are all likely to catch covid - and that makes continuing restrictions obsolete' written by the Legislator Daniel Hannan.

Have had covid at any point does not equal antibodies. I think the latest estimate is 50% but a lot of uncertainty is attached to that and it varies massively across the regions.

afaik, Daniel Hannan wants business back open and is an opponent of any restrictions. he has no scientific or medical expertise.

Honestly I would think even you, with your cult like obsession with vaccinating anything that moves, would understand that in the absence of a valid, long standing and validated safety record for mRNA, some parents may feel reticent about it!!

Blindly steaming on with vaccinating in lieu of some pretty fundamental basics -such as long term data on side effects that could be fatal - is at best naive and at worst downright dangerous.

I am not going to continue arguing with you about the testing : that ahs been done by several posters and you ignore.

Saying the vaccine is untested in order to sway others you are correct is not misinformation. It is disinformation.

And I keep telling you beware that vaccines usually take DECADES of trials, decades of huge studies and data, decades to be absolutely sure they are safe. The mRNA only had its first large study LAST YEAR, that was the very first one. It is nowhere near a proven safety record!! And yes this is NOT normal protocol!!!

I will take issue with the 75% figure when I can see the source of those stats and how Hannan (not an unbiased source ) is using them t make a political point.
