The open borders to India for weeks, the G7 and now the football has woken me up and thank god it was in time when my NHS book your vaccine text came through where I deleted it.

@Bananasinpyjamas21

You appear to be confusing two things.

The "conspiracy theory" appears to be that the vaccine was man-made and despite knowing this, various authorities around the world are concealing that fact.

Now a number of top experts on viruses HAVE come out and stated categorically that the virus is NOT man-made.

That doesn't mean it couldn't have been procured in the wild for study in the lab, from where it escaped. There's no evidence to suggest it did, but none to say it couldn't have been either - so of course no scientist would state one or the other on THAT score. Personally I don't see what difference this makes to anything.

@Nat6999

Someone I used to count as a friend keeps on posting loads of bullshit about Covid & the vaccine. Calling anyone who has had the jab sheep, moaning about restrictions & saying it's time everyone could make up their own minds about what they do. The worrying thing is he is a shareholder in a care home, he isn't what you would expect a conspiracy theory enthusiast to be, he is very intelligent, loads of money, owns several businesses.

I'd be using the past tense as well :)

It's really a kind of mental illness - nothing to do with intelligence. It's always been around, it's just more noticeable these days because of SM.

Everyone screamed that there was no way this was a lab leak, now it turns out the intel reports said actually it might have been, and leading virologists were saying it probably WAS

That's horseshit - both claims.

Nobody EVER "screamed" that there was no way it was a lab leak.

No "leading virologist" has said it probably was.

Oh wtf am I doing wasting my time arguing with a CT.

Go get some help or one day it may kill you.

OP none of those were conspiracies that came true - people who believe there could be another lockdown, possible vaccine passports, possible vaccine side effects, possible vaccines for kids are all realists - exactly the opposite of conspiracy theorists. real actual science can explain many of these and the logic behind these policies

MRNA can’t enter DNA

Care homes can demand vaccinations in what’s a privatised sector if that’s required to protect their residents and staff

health care workers have been getting Hep jabs for years without that being in the news

there are many conspiracies that have not been proved true - covids caused by 5G, that there is a cure that’s being hidden to benefit big pharma, that bill gates can hear my thoughts after being vaccinated, that covid has been created by the illuminati to create a new world order, that covid doesn’t exist at all - it’s literally a figment of our imagination after reading the news - all those who are ill simply had a cold at worst! that covid spreads faster when there’s a full moon (ok i made that one up)

You need to actually grasp the meaning of conspiracy theories. What you mention are simply speculations about what might happen. Some have, some not

Momentum is growing amongst the scientific community that this may have been a lab breach. Look at this article stating that dismissing this idea was political. www.theaustralian.com.au/commentary/coronavirus-source-wuhan-lab-leak-dismissal-was-driven-by-politics/news-story/ec2bacf061c2f0bf898e97da8a418e9d

yeah but i wouldn’t class that as a conspiracy theory tbh - it’s a theory that there may have been some evidence for but overwhelmingly not enough to suggest it happened

IMO a CT is usually something for which the evidence points the other way or for which there is no evidence for - flat earthers come to mind

Because conspiracy theories aren't that 'out there' til the end. The conspiracy theorist always says something like; "space is huge (yep) therefore it's possible there's other life forms (sure, why not), they could be more intelligent than humans (wouldn't be hard yeah), they're probably here already (yeah?) in fact the Queen is a lizard from outer space (okay, bye)"

Vaccine passports isn't weird, we already have them for other vaccinations. But you can still go to a football match without one, people haven't been put under house arrest for refusing a vaccine and not having a passport.

OP you don't seem to understand what a conspiracy theory is.

All the examples you gave were just entirely possible guesses about how a global pandemic might play out.

Conspiracy theories are more like - this virus was put here deliberately to control us all with microchips 🤷🏼‍♀️ and I don't think that has been proven 😬

that there is a cure that’s being hidden to benefit big pharma

I wouldn't be surprised if this one becomes true though. Or... proven eventually.

Then again, maybe not. Big pharma is immensely powerful and influential and a cure would mean losing the emergency approval in many countries for vaccines which are making them billions.

Youtube has literally written the drug that must not be mentioned into their community guidelines. Twitter accounts have been suspended.

Dr John Campbell, who has generally been a breath of fresh air and excellent at providing updates and analysis in terms us uneducated masses can understand, has said the silence is deafening on this. He believes there is sufficient data on this to warrant an answer from world authorities. And 'no evidence' is not an answer. When there is even a slight possibility for a cheap, viable, and effective treatment during a global pandemic, and Drs are asking for data, what possible reason is there for pretending it doesn't exist?

Other than the fact it's cheap and there is no money to be made, I can't think of any?

(And for anyone wondering why the doctor mentioned has not been banned for violating community guidelines while others are dropping like flies, I imagine it's because he is generally impartial and pro vaccines / vaccination - which is all the more reason to take notice of his questions imo).

I agree. For example this time
Last year we said they were crazy for suggesting vaccination passports, then making vaccines mandatory for certain workers - it's happening. Mandatory isolation hotels which are like prison - it's happening. Lockdown even though we have the best vaccine roll out and all
Vulnerable and elderly have been offered.

I myself thought they were crazy but not I'm starting to question....

You’re totally right. I had the Pfizer vaccination and now when I hiccough, I make the Windows start up sound Sad

Have you experienced sneezing yet? Rumour has it when you sneeze and wet yourself at the same time, you get the blue screen of death.

@AliceLivesHere

My granny has been trying to get pregnant since January - she was one of the first to be vaccinated - they were right millions of women over the age of 50 are now not able to become pregnant.

My Granny's 86 and hasn't been able to get pregnant since she was vaccinated ☹

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Great replies.

Covid passports, vaccines for children, lockdowns not ending, virus from wuhan lab, no freedoms even when you do take the vaccine, deaths from healthy people having the Covid vaccine, vaccines altering DNA (Mrna does enter dna) lockdown again this winter.... I could go on actually. It’s funny until you really look at it.

None of these are conspiracy theories - they are all predictions. Lockdown again this winter is in the future so not sure how that one has come true. Deaths from healthy people having had the vaccine, when over half a million being vaccinated a day is devastatingly sad but also inevitable. Lockdown not ending and no freedom once you've taken the vaccine - again to soon to get smug about these ones. It's already looking like all restrictions will be lifted for everyone on 19th July and those who are fully vaccinated won't need to isolate for 10 days. How are vaccines for children a conspiracy theory? My kids, like all kids, had vaccinations at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks, one year, pre-school boosters and flu jabs every winter. They're hardly a new concept.

Covid passports
There aren't covid passports, but its entirely reasonable and common to have to show vaccination status from many illnesses to do/access certain things/places.

vaccines for children
We're not vaccinating children Confused

lockdowns not ending
Are you locked down right now?

virus from wuhan lab
I think many people always thought this is a possibility/probability

no freedoms even when you do take the vaccine
What "freedoms" are you missing right now?

deaths from healthy people having the Covid vaccine
There's always a risk of any vaccine or medical procedure

vaccines altering DNA (Mrna does enter dna)
Nope

lockdown again this winter...
Now, time travel is a theory. Not sure if it counts as a conspiracy theory though.
