Why aren’t they wearing them?!

The photos we have seen are outside are they not?

That’s true. Hasn’t SAGE recommended wearing masks outdoors too? Shouldn’t these fellas be following best practices?

And many European countries still have requirements to wear masks outdoors. Clearly their leaders think it is unnecessary

Wearing/Not wearing a mask does fuck all Plus the majority of this country has been vaccinated.

Wearing a mask is now just reduced to paying lip service to the stupid rules.

I for one like to see faces and yep I want to see the POTUS and his FL not bloody masks!

@Slub The majority of the country hasn't been vaccinated! Less than half are fully vaccinated and less than 2/3 have had one dose.

Masks outdoors as well? I seriously hope not.

Considering they are not out in public it's irrelevant what percentage of the general public has been vaccinated .

I've seen pics of them sat indoors without masks. If they don’t need to wear a mask, why do I need to wear one in my office? I thought we were all in this together like anyone ever believed that shite

I thought indoors masks were only if close etc like in a pub at a table you don't wear a mask

Only “outdoor spaces where it is difficult to maintain distance and people may be close together for extended periods.”

You might not have noticed there were also women there too.

They will have been vaccinated and tested either you have confidence in your vaccine and testing procedures or you dont

Wouldn't worry about it, a police officer has tested positive on the ship housing 1000 and many of the 6000 extra police drafted in not vaccinated either or just 1 dose.

Apparently it wasn't considered a priority.

Anyone yet see the vid of Hancock walking into no 10 with his mask on and then ripping it off. Busted as the door of no 10 takes a few seconds to shut on the closer if not closed manually so was open long enough for him to be spotted ripping it off

They are the leaders of the Global 7. Most powerful nations in the world. They will have other methods of containing any spread. Vaccinated and access to every kind of medical tests and teams available.

I assume they’ve all been vaccinated. Wearing a mask after vaccination is unnecessary, unless you don’t believe the vaccines work.

Wearing a mask outdoors is probably unnecessary in any case.

They seem so blasé about it all! Why didn’t they have an online G7? Zoom would been plenty for meetings.

Outdoors isn’t compulsory.
I was in the office yesterday and the policy of my company is not to wear it if we don’t want to. We were 10 people out of 100 in so loads of space. Most of us vaccinated with at least 1.
Im pretty sure they’ll have tests every day or every few days.

And does it matter anyway ? If one of them tests positive they’ll not isolate like it’s happened with gove after his Portugal trip

We have all been told we still need precautions after being vaccinated and apparently vaccines aren’t too notch against Delta.

Given that they abbé shut down so much if our economy, should t they err on the side of caution? They could easily be carriers and pass CV to staff in the hotels

If we’re moving back to reopening some meetings will have to be f2f anyway. You could argue whether these meetings should happen now … not whether they’re online really.

I find more dangerous with what it’s going to happen in the Eurocopa in Glasgow than what it’s happening in Cornwall where most of them will be controlled

I feel some cognitive dissonance! Newspapers and Sage saying delay DDay, Delta cases rising and shut borders.

And then G7 flying all over, hanging out and doing normal pre-Covid stuff!

Hancock ripped his mask off inside number ten because he knows it does fuck all, but also because he’s got antibodies.

I’m double jabbed but I have to wear a mask so it appears fair on people who have not yet been offered.

We, the little people, herded around and controlled. Matt Hancock not so much.
